Most fights were pretty short, which is good, because long UFC fights tend to be boring. I liked the Jason MacDonald/Chris Leben fight, especially the finish, and lol at Leben calling out the drunk losers after the fight. ghfjdgs

I can never see anything on megaupload. It always says that i have exceeded my limit, despite never downloading anything.

You didn't miss much in the Liddell/Ortiz fight, it's not like it was a brutal knockout or anything, I actually thought it was a bad stoppage, although Ortiz was getting his ass kicked at that point.

With Megaupload, ensure you're only downloading one thing at a time. When I first started, that was my problem. I'd try to do more than one at a time.

I thought so too, but Tito didnt protest much.....it looked as if there was SOME semblance of thought behind the way Tito was defending himself, and not many of those punches were landing.....

Tam would be happy to know the beginning of the end was when Tito "got stupid" with Chuck. Tam has said it time and again, dont get stupid with Chuck, because Chuck is great at getting stupid....for his lack of technical boxing skill, when the bombs start flying, Chuck has incredible accuracy, vision, and poise

Bisping has to fight not to lose, then Shafer gassed and Bisping took advantage

The athlete looked great, kid is impressive.

Nice shot while sitting on his ass by Arlovski. I was kind of wanting to see the footlock war

Jardin and Griffen was a great fight, as advertised. Jardine's left hook looks sharp. Forrest was beside himself after the fight, sobbing like a woman in the corner.

Thiago Alves continues to lay the groundwork to move him up the ladder to contender status.

    really good card

I have watched this Liddell guy twice now, and besides a good judgement of distance, and landing occasional accurate haymakers, he´s basically a mediocre boxer with a good chin and power. That´s the best fighter they have, Mormeck would kill him in MMA. :sulkoff::sulkoff:

He's not the best fighter, I think GSP is. Also, Anderson Silva is a much better technical striker than Chuck.

You really think that Liddell would fight Mormeck the same as he would a MMA fighter????? MMa is about diversification, and that is the reason why Mormeck would have a snowballs chance in hell in beating Liddell in MMA

I thought the main even was disappointing. Tito Ortiz just came for a moral victory. He really is Chuck's bitch. He looked absolutely terrified in there. Liddell didn't look like a world beater either. He is getting old but he has the type of toughness that helped him win. Ortiz was simply terrified.

I agree.....any time the distance was closed, I thought Tito was gonna shit himself.....he should have tried to work a clinch and get the takedown from there, but everytime they got to the inside, Tito ran.....his shot attempts were nothing short of awful

His right hand was comical. Just listen to him in the post fight interview. I tried. He didn't even once try to take Chuck down whether he could or not isn't the issue. If you are a ground and pound guy, you don't strike with a guy who is undisputedly a better striker. If you "try" at least "try" to win the only way you can. I am sure Tita will say he was trying to take Chuck deep and drown him, but he didn't work in there. Tito didn't even want to win. My point is, even when he fought scared he still got knocked out. Why not try to knock the other guy out.

I was shocked at the Forrest result. I almost didn't watch it because I thought it was just a walk in fight, but fdgdssddw fdgdssddw He still beat Tito though.

First off, Chuck can be outboxed, just not by Tito.....

Secondly, no way did Forrest beat Tito.....A draw, probably, but he did not beat him.....The first round was 10-8 Tito, therefore the best result for Forrest was a draw.....

Third, why would you think someone would just walk through Jardine, esp Forrest, who arguably lost to Bonnar when Bonnar, in all fairness, actually lost to Jardine.....Jardine is a tough mother at 205, and is a guy who is game enough to hang in with almost anyone

One, what the fuck does the fact that chuck can be outboxed have to do with what I wrote. Tito shouldn't have tried to strike with him.

Secondly, fine a draw or whatever, but I just thought Forrest would win. Garden, I refuse to Frenchify his name, is a decent fighter. I just didn't put much thought into the fight. I was just surprised that's all. Garden has the worst nickname in the history of martial arts/boxing except for SugarPooh and that is more of a draw. I guess that is why I thought Forrest was going to beat his ass down:jester: :jester:

I hope he misread it. Ask Rampage if Chuck is the best striker in the world. :jester: :jester:

thats kind of my point Ike....Rampage outboxed Chuck....In their first fight, Randy outboxed Chuck....its not unheard of for someone to outbox Chuck, but when guys start to brawl with him, thats when they get caught.....I think Tito was trying to follow the same plan that won those fights for Chuck and Quinton, he's just not as good a boxer as those guys....

To try to just shoot double legs all night would have been as pointless as trying to out slug Chuck.....Tito had a plan, which to some degree had worked for other fighters in the past, he just couldnt come through on it

He was too terrified to be disciplined. And Rampage didn't outbox shit. He straight up beat Chuck down. I just rewatched that last night. My friend was going on and on about Chuck and I was like he ain't unbeatable and I showed him the rampage fight. Rampage just walked him down. Rampage has a great jab. I wonder how he'd do in the boxing ring. His jab is pretty damn good. It looks like a telephone pole.
