Hey, TFK can bash boxing all he wants, but he can't then compain about people bashing MMA. That's the point. REED called him out on his hypocrisy, and I agree. That's all.

I would wait until after the fights. I think Nog-Mir has the potential to be nothing special. In fact Griffin-Evans I don't see being that exciting either. Silva-Jackson should be good. However to the people who think there's no way it goes to the ground watch the first 2 fights. Jackson took Silva down in both fights if I remember correctly.

As for the MMA-boxing argument, it is comedic to say there hasn't been a boxing match as good as Alvarez-Kawajiri this year. It was a real good fight but besides getting dropped I always felt Alvarez was in control. There's numerous boxing matches that were as good and better. The truth is the little gloves and shorter fights make it so it's harder to have classic fights. More brutal KO's? Sure but less classic fights.

Yes, and neither of them were as good as Alvarez vs Kawajiri\Hansen.

I don't complain against people bashing MMA, I just correct them.

Wow, what a shocking revelation that a MMA fan like MMA fights more than boxing fights. Wow, I am shocked.:lol:

Opinions are opinions. I don't really see you correct anything. I see biased opinions for and against MMA that's about it. I actually like both but the truth is the truth. The UFC does a great job marketing but the other organizations have yet to prove they can stay alive. The fights are OK, but in general they are nothing special.

Not true. The best MMA card I ever watched was the Pride with Gomi-Diaz and Henderson-Silva II. 2 very good fights and there was some other good fights on there. So, despite Pride and some other organizations having very good fights (and fight cards) they are still gone. Why is that? Simple, brand name. The UFC has it and is great at marketing. The truth is there PPV's have kind of cooled off as a lot of there more marketable stars got smashed. The biggest exception being Brock Lesnar and that fame wasn't exactly acquired in MMA.

Yeah i do kinda agree. Im not looking forward to Griffin-Evans at all.

Nog's fights are usually exciting and i don't think he will dissapoint.

Wanderlei-Rampage will be a war if it stays standing. I just think that Rampage will try and GNP.

Rashad KO:Nothing against Forrest but he's been fortunate to fight a hurt Shogun and an unprepared Rampage. Its not his fault they showed up that way but it is what it is.Rashad is the truth and he will show it this saturday.

Nogeira UD:Mir's good but his lack of disipline will be his downfall against the alltime great in Big NOG

Jackson TKO:Jackson fought better in there second fight and think he will be even better in this one.I just think Jacksons improved while Wand has slipped a little since getting off the juice....I wouldn't put money on this though, theres just way too many variables in this fight.

I read that i had to look that fight up musta been a CLASSIC....it was a good...GREAT fight by MMA standards....IMO proof that the ring is better than a cage for this stuff(no clinging/trapping the guy against the fence)...

but...Castillo vs. Corrales I...it isn't......CAs vs. Corra was way above that fight....

It was a very good fight. However it was also pretty 1 sided. Gomi landed a big punch but besides that he mostly got beat up. It didn't have the ebbs and flows of Corrales-Castillo, LOL @ that fight being better. Besides good promoting though I will give the UFC credit for trying to put together action fights and showing stuff on the undercards. That helps them as well. The fights aren't as long in general but they do show anywhere from 6-7 fights.

    BULLSHIT, Dude:boohoo:...

U're ALWAYS Crying whenever Somebody Says Something the LEAST Bit Negative about MMA...Shit, U CAN'T even Stand It when MMA's COMICAL PayScale is Criticized...& OFTEN, U Take Shots @ Boxing to BOLSTER MMA, yet when Posters like Steve-Dave, FreeIke or RJp4pno1 Give YOU a Taste of YOUR OWN Medicine, U Get PISSY about It...

It's CLEAR that U're More of an MMA Guy & that's FINE...But it's HYPOCRITICAL to SAY U're Not a Part of the MMA vs. Boxing Debate when U FREQUENTLY Denigrate Boxing N the Name of Making MMA Look Better....

    'Preciate that, Jarhead...

It's Actually VERY EASY To Seperate Boxing & MMA...It's NOT Like REED Makes a Concious Effort to Refrain from Talking Shit about 1 or the Other...But PLENTY of REED's Dallas Area Boxing Friends Take an EITHER-OR approach & Wonder WHY REED Watches MMA...& REED's Response to that is "WHY NOT?":dunno:...

Sure, they're SIMILAR, but there's Enough of a DIFFERENCE that they DON'T Compete w/Each Other, N REED's Opinion...There IS Room for BOTH...

    1. REED likes Rashad to STOP Forrest Fairly Early as Well...Even when he WINS, Forrest Gets Caught w/Massive Head Shots...Rampage HURT Forrest but Didn't have the CONDITIONING to Follow Up or REPEAT what was Successful...Evans Seems to "Get It" N a Way that Rampage Doesn't & SHOULD B N Good Shape...Plus, his HANDSPEED & POWER are Pretty Impressive & Should Spell Doom Considering Forrest's HITTABILITY...

    2. Mir has a STRANGE Way of Straddling the Confident/Nervous Line...He'll ADMIT to Anxiety about Facing Nog THEN Smirk & Say "Noguiera's NOT Submitting Me"...It's Pretty Clear that Mir DOESN'T Have the Highest Respect for Nogueira's Jiu-Jitsu, Based on HIS OWN Comments...REED has NATHAN to Base it On, but Thinks Mir will Surprise Noguiera & Get the Victory...

    3. Wanderlai EARLY or Rampage in 2...REED is Expecting a WAR...If Anybody can Overcome 2 DEVASTATING Losses, to the Same Guy he's about to Face, it's Rampage...But Having Said that, it'd B SMART of Wanderlai to Lay Some Hurt on Rampage EARLY, to REMIND Him of their Previous Fights...Wanderlai's Punch Resistance ISN'T On Par w/his AGGRESSION these Days, which Causes him to Get HIT & HURT More Often...REED Thinks Rampage Overcomes a Rough Beginning, Catching an Overly Aggressive Wanderlai w/a BOMB & Subsequently Pounding him Out...

REED is DEFINITELY Excited about this Card...Hopefully there's a Round by Round Thread w/LINKS to Live Action....

MMA TV always has a rock solid stream, decent resolution and high framerate.

I am sick of the fucking justin TV streams, most of them are unwatchable, bring back the quality Sopcast streams.
