Did you guys happen to watch Dana's UFC 92 Video Blog leading up to this event tonight? For the past week, all 6 fighters in the 3 biggest fights of the card have been hanging out together in the bars, video game booths, flying on the same jet, etc. It's kinda weird. You don't often see guys who are going to try to kill eachother in a few days time chilling out and doing karaoke and drinking and flying together leading up... By the way, Mir and Nog are too heavy IMO. Nog used to fight at 225-230 in Pride. Today he weighed in at 240+ That's the problem with these extended layoffs thanks to a reality show.
So it's the REALITY SHOW that Gets these Guys Out of Shape & Not Their OWN LACK of Self-Discipline???.... REED::
When you're not competing for almost a year, that's not helping you at all. It goes for every athlete in every sport. Inactivity hurts.
It all started in PRIDE FC and I don't think there was any sincere closure between the two after there second fight.

This card should be good! The one thing I notice is that no UFC fighter has die hard fans like boxing does. People will fight others for talking shit about their favorite boxer. I dont' get that vibe from the UFC fans. It's more entertainment and they just want to see a good show.
Rampage/Silva should be a war, but I am getting nervous about Page. He just doesn't seem himself. He seems to be lacking confidence and energy. I hope i'm wrong. I actually think that Forrest/Rashad will be a great fight. I think both have a lot at stake and are gonna bring it. That youtube from REED was entertaining too. Poor Iron Mike just looks so old and drugged up. God I miss that guy.

The fact that no UFC fighter has die hard fans makes it that much easier for the UFC brass to fire these guys when they string a few losses. LOL!
