Jardine being top 10 is also very arguable. Maybe just in the UFC, but not in his division in general.

Alexander would never get to the point where he was the guy who beat the guy who beat the champion in boxing. Not even close.
That would seem like a fair statement until you throw out the names Louis Monaco or Michael Murray. Who are they you ask? They are guys who beat a guy that beat Mike Tyson. Hmmm, not really that big a deal when put in that perspective, huh?
Without having seen those guys, I'm sure they would absolutely crush Houston Alexander in a boxing match. And yes, I'm talking about a guy who decimated Jardine who beat everyone's hero Chuck Lidell and the reigning champion of the UFC. Don't even get me started, Trpl. :nono:
Also, after a quick look at Buster's record, he didn't lose to either of the guys you named. :: The Monaco fight happened a good seven years after Douglas beat Tyson, and it was a DQ win for Douglas. Monaco knocked him out after the bell. Maybe you're talking about Mike White who beat Douglas in 1983? Again, roughly seven years away from the Tyson fight. I'm talking about a series of MMA fights that happened mere months apart.
Yep. Now get back to the boxing forum and stop trying to shit in MMA's mouth. Fucking Canadians. :flip: ::
Actually your comparison is more shit than mine. Liddell was NOT the reigning champion when he lost to Jardine. Like Tyson when McBride beat him, Liddell was a former champion.
I shouldn't have to point out how ridiculous that comparison is. Tyson was years removed from championship status. Everyone thought Chuck was the best guy around one fight prior. ::
Well, hate to correct you again, but Rampage was the betting favorite so Chuck wasn't considered the best guy around. Also, the fact that you now have to qualify your original comment by addressing the length of time each was removed from the belt sort of indicates that it was a moronic statement to begin with. ***By the way, you know this is all in good fun right??? I don't need to end up as the meat substitute in your next batch of moose stew or whatever.***
What were the results of this? I missed it. I saw part of the Guida fight but IMHO it was boring so I left.
Belcher beat Herman by SD, Diaz beat Neer by SD, Schaffer beat Alexander by submission in the first round, Guida beat Danzig by UD. On the undercard, Joe Lauzon was victorious by 2nd round TKO.
