Seeing that clown get choked was awesome. I could watch him get schooled a million times and it would never get old. I hate that kid.
Even with the good fights, watching Miller taunting a choked-out Browning was the highlight. Typically that lack of sportsmanship would irk me, but with Junie I didn't mind.
That's Tyson Griffin's 4th or 5th fight of the night bonus. The guy is just never in a bad fight. It's just too bad he has zero power in his punches. He just doesn't have it in him to knock anyone out. If he had any kind of power, he could be champ at 155. TFK
Junie deserves no good sportsmanship from anyone. He's got no respect and deserved to be punked like that.
Couldn't you almost feel the pain of that knee compression deal? I don't know how Griffin walked after that. But you are dead on. The dude's got all the ingredients necessary in a champion aside from show stopping power or submissions.
Not trying to be a dick, but aren't those two VERY IMPORTANT ingredients?:dunno: I loved the Kampman/Condit fight. Back and forth action all 3 rounds. Don't think either guy will ever be a real title contender, but that was a good fight. Bader reminds me of Gray Maynard. good takedowns but very boring and dull after that. Cole Miller is the shit. Fuck Junie:bears: Griffin amazed me with fighting through that first round. I just saw the Creduer fight. He got the guy to tap twice:doh: I like Tim, always good to see him do well.
Listen You Dick! Yep they are very important unless you plan to win a ton of decisions. Fact is that Griffin's last 7 fights have all ended via decision and he's been on the losing end of two of those despite both fights being very close. But he is easily good enough to stay in the championship hunt and is a pleasure to watch.
I SAID I WASN'T TRYING TO BE A DICK:flip:!!! I have always thought Griffin was a very good fighter, not quite great, but good. You are right though, he's good enough to stay in the hunt, but he will never get the prize. What is good for us, he is in enjoyable fights. What is bad for us. A guy like Maynard could possibly win the prize, but will put us to sleep doing so.
he's a good guy, I like him too. I disagree about Cole Miller. I always hope to see him lose, even against Junie B.
I don't like Cole Miller either, I just can't stand Junie even worse. Faber did lose to Tyson Griffin by TKO.
he also stopped Duane Ludwig. He finished all his opponents until his second fight in the UFC. All decisions since then. 7 in a row, baby.
Faber kinda dove into a right hand, then was GNP'd. You can forward to the 6:00 mark to see it happen. It's the start of the 3rd round. <object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/WDcJxim_sVs&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/WDcJxim_sVs&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object> I'd love to see that rematch.
