    He lost to Aldo for the title and then loses a narrow decision to Griffin. No, he's got more life than one more fight. The dude fought for the FW title less than a year ago after beating Leonard Garcia and Mike Brown to earn the shot.

    5 of his 6 loses are to guys in the UFC... And the other, Emerson, is a guy that was previously in the UFC. Are you saying UFC fighters are average Mixed Martial Artist? I thought the UFC was the best of the best.

    I was at Bellator's FW tourney last night. Some of those guys are average. Guys that beat Manny, like Sherk, Diaz, Tavares, Aldo and Griffin are NOT.

    Sometimes dude, you just go overboard.

    The UFC has many average fighters, are you serious with that question? You just saw an average fighter beat a below average.

    Do you think all the UFC fighters are above average?:lol:

    I didnt say Aldo was average. I just said he loses to average fighters. You dont think Diaz is average? Diaz might retire with loses than wins. that guy has lost 5 out of last 8 fights.

    Anthony you're just misguided. Nate Diaz isn't a great UFC fighter but he is above average if you compare him to every MMA fighter in the world.

    As I always say, your view is simplistic. Manny Gamburyan easily beats 6 of the 8 FW's on Bellator's card last night.

    He is average compared to UFC fighters but not to ALL MMA fighters. Period.

    Mitrione has a ton of tools. Big time athlete, great size and a southpaw. Would've been an interesting prospect if he was in his 20s.

    His ground game is nothing but a defensive guard to get the fight back on the feet. Not that it matters. He's a good specialist.

    Who do you guys think wins between Meathead and Schaub?

    I think Schaub would have to take him down. Meathead is a guy who seems to get fired up when he gets hit, a really solid chin, while Schaub has been brutally KO'd before by one punch.

    I think Matt wins by KO. I think he is just too strong to be taken down by someone like Schaub, who i think lacks strength.

    Mitrione is such a relaxed striker and he certainly seems to have a better chin than Schaub.

    I'd pick Meathead to beat Schaub. I'd personally like to see it though.

    No i didnt call him below average. He is a very nice person. But he is below average. What is good at other than Judo? (very good at judo btw). Do you think every UFC fighter can beat every fighter not in UFC?

    Manny would probably beat anyone outside of the UFC besides Patricio Pitbull and maybe Marlon Sandro...

    Dude, I'm done with this conversation. I think there are very few fighters in the UFC that are below average. And Manny isn't one of them.

    Again, go watch a local show or two and then call Manny below average.

    You really look silly calling Manny a below average MMA fighter. Ridiculous.

    There are scrubs in the UFC though....but Manny has beaten a ton of guys at FW. He's obviously not one of them. His tenure in the WEC and UFC attest to this.


    Guys like Carl Warburton are below average fighters. That's why it is so easy to predict that he'd get destroyed.

    1. You have issues tearing people down that disagree with you. You should learn that there are other opinions out there.

    2. You avoided my question. What does Manny do above average other than Judo?

    3. If you dont think the UFC has many average fighters, you are easily impressed. I have seen Amateure shows before. AND? Im talking about The UFC, Strikeforce, Dream, etc. The Big Shows. Pros.

    Again, I tend to shy away from calling any UFC fighter a scrub because they could absolutely own fighters in local or small shows.

    Warburton is a better example of a below average fighter in the UFC than Gamburyan.

    He has average takedowns. His size helps him with that. He has good subs. But again, nothing ABOVE AVERAGE.

    Matt should fight Kongo if Kongo wins tonight or Travis Browne or Struve even. Schaub is on a roll and is 2-3 wins away from a title shot so there is no way Schaub would fight Matt at this point.

    Not really. A guy like James McSweeney just sucks period. A guy like Aaron Rosa as well, an average fighter even on regional standards.
