Totally agree. He's obviously a talented fighter, he's just too old and isn't dedicated enough to MMA.
No doubt. It would have been fine even he'd started training seriously in MMA at a fresh 30, with no real miles on the clock. He could have made some waves I think in my mind.
The one thing I know too, is that Anderson Silva has a huge ego. I think he will go right after Cung in the standup right off the bat. I honestly think this fight would be fun while it lasted.
Anderson is huge compared to Le, he's pick him apart from the outside and just keep moving for a round and then it's over.
Cung Le is a very well-rounded fighter. If he would have stay dedicated to MMA after blitzing Frank Shamrock, he would probably have already faced Silva by now. He can still pull the trigger early in fights so I would see him being dangerous for Silva in the first round but he just doesn't have the gas tank to hit a second round with Silva or with any top MW right now.
