Never fought in Pride but has fought against and beat many of Pride's top fighters. It's always after the fact that everyone screams how the fight was a sham.
The only top Pride fighter he has beaten is Mauricio Shogun Rua. Babalu has 6 losses on his MMA record. Whatever.. most of those guys are heavyweights... Shogun is considered by many to be the best fighter in Pride next to Fedor.
no one is saying Babalu aint a good fighter...he is a very good fighter..its just that he doesnt match up well with Lidell...lidell does everything better then him...and Lidell already kicked his ass.....so yeah...not many people were eager to see this fight but as we said before...Pride is DEEPER then UFC..there really aint no arguing over this
Liddell doesn't do everything better than Sobral. He is a powerful striker that has a phenominal takedown defense, but if he went to the ground with Sobral he would be fucked. Liddell just has incredible punching power.
