Yeah, MAB has been complaining that the fight should have been stopped in the first rd but he did also mention that Khan can't punch for shit. He said the kid had fast hands but that he couldn't feel his punches at all.

    Anyway here's the fight:

LOL yea i remember those days with the Pac - Barrera thing, think that might have been one of my "jackpot" predictions haha

The thing with Khan, all those things you mentioned as detriments to him are things which can be taught, over a steady period of time under the right coach, with the exception of chin, and to SOME extent, power. I'm by no means saying that he is a world beater right now, of course not, he has a hell of a long way to go still, but thats just it, hes very young, and its way too early to write him off just now, hes just a kid! Also he seems very dedicated and strikes me as the type of kid who will just soak up what Roach and Manny are teaching him every day, sparring with Manny seems to have provided him with a world of confidence already.

I know people are saying he is just crazy handspeed and athletic ability and thats it, maybe so (although i dont believe that personally), but if I was taking over as a respected trainer of a young prospect, I would rather have a young, ambitious, athletically talented kid with incredible handspeed who I could mould into the type of fighter I'd want, than a young ambitious kid whos not that athletic, doesnt have much speed, but is brave, can take a shot and hits harder. In my opinion handspeed is one of the most valuable assets in boxing, it can take you a long way. Obviously another big asset is chin, but I think ways can be worked around that, I honestly do.

Of course I could be completely wrong, I just think he quite clearly isn't shit, whilst he might not turn out to be that great, he hasn't done enough in his career so far to prove either you or me correct.

Khan fights a lot like Felix Sturm, but fights a little less careful. He was too big for Barrera IMO, and too young. Barrera should just call it quits.
