John Cusack should be on an under-rated actors list. I don't think I've ever seen him in anything I haven't liked him in.

Under rated...movie..

 

cusack's just a guy who's easy to like. seems to mostly tap into the same sort of character, but it's a v likeable one.

 

Very Bad Things is one of the best black comedies for sure

that scene where the guy is buying Whizzers for the kids had me in stitches :atu:

 

Hahahah. That film I absolutely loved. Christian Slater and Cameron Diaz were hilarious, especially Slater.

Apartment Zero with Collin Firth and Ellis from Die Hard is a great underappreciated movie.

 

Agree with King of Comedy. Very good dark comedy and satire on celebrity.

 

Lord of the Rings was a very good trilogy. The third got most of the accolades, but I preferred the 2nd.

Titanic was shit though, and Pocahontas in Space was just an average movie with great visual effects.

 

Mystery Men

 

Streets Of Fire the Walter Hill film got trashed by critics, bombed at the box office and got a second chance when released on VHS, but still couldn't find an audience. Now is better regarded, with a little cult following, but still continues to be a little seen gem. Michael Pare was okay in this film, but it is Willem Dafoe who steals the film. He was plain CREEPY here. Diane Lane was only 19 when she did this film and oh boy, wasn't she smoking sexy already! (her previous film was the teen drama "A Little Romance" when she was much younger).
