A lot of blood around the right eye of Shumenov at the end of round 5.

Got that covered. Uzelkov simply gets outworked and that he barely outpointed an old Lakatos at home also indicated he can be outworked.

I love how they keep pretending that something will happen very soon. Uzelkov is what he is, there is no secret masterplan. He´ll lose a 12 round decision and that´s it.

Shumenov seems a little more tired in the 8th...mouth open more.

If there is a KO, it will be Shumenov who scores it.

Just saying it looked like he slowed down that round.

Shows Uzelkov was just lucky against Campillo. The rest of his resume is mediocre.

I question whether that close decision against Lakatos was even legit. The dude looks like a can. There is no way he outlanded Lakatos with that attitude.

Yeah, first time seeing him on television and he certainly didn't look very good tonight.

I'm sure the heat had something to do with it...I've been down at that venue in the summer and it can be oppressive.

He did only weigh in at 172...if his camp, by saying they didn't have access to a scale until hours before the weigh-in, was suggesting he was that low because he was worried about not making weight or something like that, then maybe he was a little drained, which added to the heat, and a very well-conditioned and active opponent, could make you look bad...especially if you're passive/selective to begin with.

Still not sure what was up with the blinking, though.

As for Shumenov, he looked solid, but kinda basic and repetetive. I know he hasn't had a lot of fights, but didn't come away totally impressed.

He should be a good television fighter.
