He has red hair!! He's fiery!! It's his Irish temper!!! That's all!! He's not a bad guy!!

He's 5'8, walking around at 180, jacked up on roids and what not, of course he lost his temper and brutalizes people.

His entire set up sounds like a talented successful version of the James Kirkland routine.

My understanding of the El Chatito story is that he was a close friend of Canelo's for years. He was a big mentor when Canelo was getting into boxing, and one of the first guys to start teaching Canelo the basics. After Canelo was coming up and was a bit of a star, he carried on sparring with him and let Canelo do whatever he wanted.

The type of fighter that Jaregui was, it's only natural to assume that he was gonna end up with something bad anyway. But 100s of rounds with a much bigger, much better guy who you're letting use you as a punching bag for years, while past your own best for all of it, isn't gonna do you much good.

That sounds about right. It kind of goes along with the article I read about the incident. Most of the brain damage comes from the rounds of sparring vs the actuall fights. Amateurs die all the time from brain swelling. I think even if Canelo had something to do with Chatito's death it was all accidental. However breaking Cholulo's jaw was no accident.
