Of course Vitali didn't lose a round and didn't take much punches but he seemed to have difficulties landing his punches. I think there was a reason he threw so little right hands

Lawrence did an OK job against Brock until he got nailed by a perfect left hook. He also has a bit of speed and throws them in bunches. Danny Williams landed enough leather on Sosnowski to take the guy out but Sosnowski showed durability there to persevere and win late. It was not enough against a guy like Vitali who fought all night like a guy who knew he was too good to lose. He just did what he has always tried to do....have a look, soften up, take out.

Yes....he was having too much success with the left, was winning the rounds, and could see that Sosnowski was getting jaded. Klitschko has KO power but a boxers mentality.

With all your previous posts you have pointed out that it was a long sustained beating:lol: And that is closer to the truth. The last punch was a solid right hand but Sosnowki had nearly gone down just before it and was exhausted

Come on.....prior to the stoppage, he took a beating. I was calling it as it was. It was the usual Vitali style. Wear em down, and end it with some single biggies.

Yes excuse me Sosnowski is a great fighter with a great chin. The guy was the biggest bum that has challenged for the heavyweight title in the last ten years and Vitali carried him for 10 rounds.

Of course there was a reason. When Wladimir hit Moli with the first punch Moli took a semi dive in the first round and the crowd almost went into a full blown riot. The Klitschkos have never returned to Munich. This was the semi scenario only with 60000 idiots. First time Vitali lands a flush right with weight behind it, Sosnowski would have been out.

Thank you David. Who are you fighting next?

Sosnowski has a decent chin. Klitschko did what he always does, barring 5 fights in his career: have a look, break the guy down, take him out.

I dont understand it. Sosnowski was left crump;ed in the corner and had taken a subtle if systematic hammering throughout.

Thats why everyone used to think Vitali was there for the taking. Danny Williams said after their fight that he was "surprised"...people think that the guy does fuck all for 10 rounds....he doesn't. He beats people up in what can only be described as the most understated fashion possible.

His fights are "always boring" but his opponents nearly always finish up in a state of considerable physical distress having enjoyed a strict minimum of success of their own.

SO what? If he does the guy in 1, he's a bum and the division is shit. If he does the guy in 10, he's a bum and the division is shit.

Haye ended up carrying Ruiz, but involuntarily. His lungs would empty and he would have to wait for the next round to try again. Yet people rave about that fight. It gets a tonne of copy in the papers. :dunno:

Klitschko is simply not the pitbull people want him to be. I mean, think back to Manny Steward furiously screaming (so hard in fact that his voice was breaking) at Lennox Lewis to LET THAT FUCKING SHIT GO against Tyson.

Tyson was fucking DEAD from the 4th or 5th but Lewis just took his time. The ending was the same. The opponent was left cut, bashed, and totally out of it.

That's the guys style. If you don't like having to wait 27 minutes or so to see somebody reduced to a semi-vegetative state, sorry. Go watch UFC. Their fights are 25 minutes long at most.

Oh Danny Williams was surprised. Coincidentally Danny Williams is the 2nd biggest bum that has challenged for a heavyweight title in the last ten years. I don´t care about your Klitsch cock sucking lovefest. The fight was complete BS. It was a glorified sparring session, and it makes me feel ashamed that 60000 people actually paid to attend this garbage.

It's nothing of the sort. Its a question of personal interest I suppose. Sosnowski was the best available contender, much like when the largely undeserving Botha {who had 1 win, 1 loss and 1 draw in his previous 3 fights} got to fight Lewis in London in 2002. Yet Boxing Monthly made the argument that he was the best available contender and everyone was happy with it.

60,000 people came out to see a guy who will probably be remembered as one of the best heavyweights of all time. It might be 50 years before Germany sees another fighter like him who likes Germany and likes to fight there and who carries the same reputation. Look at it in those terms, and you might see why they show up. Which is more than can be said for Haye the last time he was due to fight before 65,000.

60,000 attendances are GOOD for boxing. Not bad.

Part 4 of 4. The rest of the fight is on youtube somewhere.

First time I saw it, I thought he was asking Jay Nady to stop it.

    Klitschko doesn't understand Jay Nady.

Jay has two basic rules: don't clinch, and don't fall twice.

You can die on your feet after that, and Jay won't give fuck.

Sosnowski did better than expected (it was refreshing to see him at least try) but Vitali did a typically systematic number on him.

Man, I just wanna see one of these Klitschkos tested.

I just watched round 1, which I mostly missed thanks to my cheap, illegal stream.

Anyone who thinks Vitali has lost it is wrong. He was plenty nimble and showed fine speed and reflexes. People really should acknowledge that he has the same shoulder roll defence from the right hand that Mayweather does, he just doesn't turn his back as much.

He landed a right to the body the like of which I am sure played a major role in Sosnowski's balance degenerating so early in the fight.

This is the latest assault on the Klitschkos....so-called "entertainment factor".

I would sooner bore 60,000 people than "entertain" 12,000.........half of whom had free tickets.....

Yep. And who should he have fought in his last 4 fights?

    David Haye and...............................................:dunno:

People don't dislike him because he "fights cans":shit:. Arreola, Johnson, Peters, Sosnowski and Gomez had like 4 or 5 defeats between them. Johnson and Arreola were undefeated, fresh American contenders. They might have won 2 rounds between them vs Vitali.

Klitschko has made one critical mistake when it comes to being accepted by the sports media: he has reminded America of how utterly insignificant she has become in recent years on the sports scene.

How dare he take up residence in Beverly Hills and then fuck off to Germany to do 60,000 in Gelsenkirchen.

Alot of his skill is due to having to improvise in the ring fight by fight, he's got a lock on the mindset,.. somebody useless like old Fritz has turned out to be a blessing really.

Like him or not, he is The Champ, and you are just going to have to swing along with him until someone else comes along.
