I felt a similar way watching DLH-Trinidad. I thought Oscar edged it, but I thought "sucked in" when he lost because of the way he fought the last rounds.

I don't care if Ramonza has never even seen a pair of real boxing gloves. The fact that he is an avid watcher of the sport entitles him to come on a boxing forum and render his opinion. There isn't some clarity that comes with having a handful of amateur fights or loitering around the gym hoping to rub elbows with a REAL fighter.

And specifically we were talking about the scoring of fights which is subjective already. But how many professional boxing judges do you think have any further 'hands-on' experience with the sport? How many amateur rounds do you think Eva Shain logged prior to judging Ali-Shavers.

Just give it a rest and understand that people have differing viewpoints and sometimes there isn't a right or wrong answer, just opinions.

Would it be asking too much of you to explain its relevance to scoring a fight? Karl, by how many rounds did you score Ali-Young in the former's favour to render it, "stupid" for someone to score it for Young? I assume that's a bare-bones minimum of nine rounds for Ali, & probably more. Which nine-plus rounds were those, Karl?

If you're as legendary as you say you are, you won't have any problems enlightening us as to why sparring with Juan Diaz makes you an authority on scoring a Boxing match --- & why there are so many individuals involved in the sport at much, much higher levels than yourself whose judgement on everything from scorecard-rendering to fighter development is so off-base.

In truth, I don't understand your real problem --- we were discussing a fight, & you were somehow offended enough to resort to juvenile attacks. In hindsight, I shouldn't have fuelled it further with a barb of my own, & whilst I'll stop short of apologising for a clash beyond the subject I didn't instigate, I will admit I can & will be more civil in future.
