is it that difficult to understand that i am imitating you? "come on guys there's already a thread on this" "guys, don't talk about ufc in here, jeeeez" :Steve-Dave/MMA:
There'd be more excitement on the West Coast if the fight was there, but I don't know about any sell out. Really, you think Solis' name carries that much weight? It's not like Arreola's that big of a star around So Cal, despite HBO treating him like one.
All caked up? Is this Canadian slang or something? I make enough to pay my bills, but not much left over after that.
It wouldn't. To be completley honest if Arreola was fighting Solis in Southern California tomorrow - it would generate a very mild buzz. But for the most part it would be just as irrelevant to this country as the Klitschko-Solis fight is right now. Sad thing about that is that V/Klit is a top notch fighter... Arreola is a joke, yet still the best American heavyweight on the planet at the moment :atu:
Yep. Arreola took a lot of clean shots in pretty tough back to back losses, plus his way of living has taken a toll.
Yeah, Arreola-Solis in So Cal would probably generate about the same level of interest here as Klitschko-Solis (in Germany) has received here. If Klitschko-Solis was at Staples or something, that would generate more interest stateside because of the location and because Klitschko does have a following. Really, this fight has gotten as much attention in a lot of places for being on Epix as much the fight itself. I think the fight itself is getting overlooked. Obviously agree with you on Arreola not being very good...I think Solis is better and I'm much more interested in the fight this weekend than I was for Klitschko-Arreola.
If Vitaly loses then he screws over Adamek because Adamek is waiting in the wings to fight vitaly in september.
It was supposed to be Wlad vs Chisora, then Wlad vs Adamek. Then fucktard boy came out of his closet and said he wanted the fight with Wlad, so that nixed Chisora. No mention of Adamek as such since.
V/Klitschko v Solis hasn't generated much interest in Germany, then? I thought they Klits always generated interest. To be honest I am more excited for this fight than I have been for a heavyweight title fight in a while, at least one involving a Klitschko. Maybe Haye-Ruiz just in the hopes of seeing johnny ko'd
I though it was finalized...unless both Klitschko's lose. http://sports.espn.go.com/sports/boxing/news/story?id=6080843
Sorry, I was saying Klitscho-Solis hasn't generated much talk stateside because it's in Germany...that if it was in the US, it would be more talked about than it is. The Klitschko's do ratings when their fights are actually fought in the US, they don't do nearly as good of numbers when their fights are staged in Europe and either streamed or run live in the afternoon on cable.
Ya but now they're saying it's going to be Vitaly since it looks like Wlad might fight Haye after all.
They do great ratings in Europe.:kick: I am not sure the Germans like Solis anyways. He is associated with Oner who was in charge of that great big goat-fuck down in Spain where Danny Williams fought Konstantin Airich.
Has anybody seen Solivs versus Austin ? I mean looking at the scores it was an even fight so that basically tells me Solis is garbage. Am I right ?
You can watch it here...including the interesting ending. <iframe title="YouTube video player" width="480" height="390" src="http://www.youtube.com/embed/WQLgYCJzP30" frameborder="0" allowfullscreen></iframe>
He's carrying at least 20lb of excess dead weight. He looks like your average 1970s 'fat kid' at that weigh in. It's all just a bit depressing...
Thanks .I skipped through it quickly and what sloppy garbage it was. Vitaly will easily kick his ass.
I have nearly fallen asleep watching the brothers fight, particularly during the Johnson and Chambers fights. Terrific fighters, but very boring, but I will watch as they are the champs.
