"Typically Boring"....... Johnson, Lewis, Sanders, Williams and Arreola fights were all decent, entertaining fare. The guy does 15,000 spectators for his US title fights, Stateside. "Ugly Fashion".......Timmy the Head is ugly. Amir Khan has an ugly, leap-amateur, no-skills fashion. Vitali stands in there, shows a shoulder-roll, shows a low left hand, a fine sense of distance, and plenty of variety. Man stays right in front of guys. He might be awkward, but its hard to be smooth at 6'8", 250. But he is never ugly. Au Contraire, he is active and economical at the same time. John Ruiz was ugly. Valuev likewise. How many clinches does Vitali have per fight?? "Meaningless Win"- no such thing as a meaningless win. The alternative to a win is a draw, or a loss. That makes all wins meaningful. Winning means you didn't lose, and that's always meaningful. A win over a former 175lb champ is always meaningful....in the fine tradition of the heavyweight division, no? :crafty: Face it Ifkithar, you just hate the guy, which is cool.
I follow lots of fights, only so much time I can give up to the youtube archives though. De Leon is a hard man, powerful, but not much more than that. Gamboa really is a cut above him and we know that De Leon can be hurt, and early.
, the excuses never end. I wonder what you would have replied with if someone claimed Vitali sucked in bed. Vitali rarely fights in the States, for a reason. Nobody cares about him here. He generated a bit of a hype buzz when he managed to get stopped by an old Lennox Lewis, but he's long since been forgotten. Pretty hilarious you mention the 15k figure, since it's from the Arreola fight, which was in Los Angeles. Arreola was the draw there. Of course, the fact that you think Vitali-Johnson was entertaining is kind of indicative of why you're willing to overlook inconvenient little facts like that. A "meaningless win" to those of us capable of understanding the most basic level of nuance is a win over an unworthy opponent, one that does nothing to enhance a fighter's reputation or legacy. Please stop being so fucking dumb. I guess since Tim Bradley et al are "ugly," they hold the monopoly, so a lumbering, robotic, arm-punching oaf who one-hand pushes his opponents and calls it a "jab" must then be beautiful to watch. But then, you defend the Supersized Ruiz Wlad here too. Perhaps there's some bias involved? And yeah, a win over a former 175 lb champ who was soundly beaten at 175 and whose best win consists of barely beating a fat scrub at heavy is really comparable to a win over a former 175 lb champ who is currently the undisputed HW champ of the world, and beat an ATG heavyweight to get there..
Awww come on,.. feel the similar curves of your skull,...enough of this 'North / South' rivalry,.. we are the same,... we are the same... :crafty:
Loadedgloves might have a quasi Mundine syndrome,.. but the muslim side of the indian continent is unfortunately for him the Aryan side of the equation,.. the Australoids of Australia are the 'complete bake' of the race, the southern indians are half-bakes,.. and the further west, the more the genetical float towards his worst enemies are, so come to papa. :crafty:!
ER IST UBER ALLES, as it were??? I do love these little trysts. Its basically me, manning the fort, awaiting the inevitable Australian Light Infantry to relieve me and repel the invaders.
haha I don't hate the Klitschkos because they're white, unlike Irish I don't judge fighters based on their race
Bottom line: Adamek doesn't handle Vitali's strength and range and accuracy. I don't see his bulked up frame having the stamina to sustain the physical depletion of trying to get inside on Vitali. It's a horrible task. In fact, I see Vitali registering an earlier than customary stoppage here, primarily through exhaustion, though also because I expect Adamek to keep genuinely trying to win like a champion, rather than settling for the hallow moral victory of the bell. And I expect Adamek to show us why he's been such a successful fighter in the early rounds and possibly show Vitali a more punishing body attack than he's even seen. Be a very good fight, quite looking forward to it. Both guys have skills and both guys will really come to fight. Good enough for me.
Adamek is going to be pumped up on what will be a massive home crowd. I'm not talking 50,000 fat bastards at Yankee Stadium either. I hope the Americans tune in to see this fucking scene. Someone is getting bashed tomorrow, thats for sure.......
These Poles actually had an Ultra outfit travel over with no tickets to start a fight in...wait for it....Belfast for their match vs FC Nordern Oranje a couple years back....hardcore thugs. Basically showed up looking for a scrap with the UVF scum. :bears:
I have decided to change my prediction. I remember Byrd giving Vitaly a lot of trouble. There is a chance that Adamek can frustrate Vitaly. He has to stay away from him.
Neither man can win this fight. One of them needs a massive weight advantage, the other one is a natural heavyweight who should be used to massive weight disadvantages by now!!! :bears: I am looking forward to this a lot.....atmosphere is going to be Partizan....like Galatasary or Besiktas.... Adamek is going to try to get off in short bursts and bang to the body, Vitali is going to try and throw some arm punches, maybe do a few jab-sway-jab moves, and hope he nicks a decision. Intriguing.
