You can probably make a case for fat, shitty Solis being in his top-5.

Stevie, do you think Solis'll prove to be glass templed etc in the future, or do you think it was a real fluke shot?

I'd say Solis probably is chinny, but the little bit of doubt makes it a better fight than this waxed sack he's fighting.

Chinny. I don't expect Solis to be very active though to be honest.

Charr does look like a big waxed testicle. I hope Vitali bludgeons him.

So you are saying you would focus on hitting Solis in the temple if you were a future opponent? Fuck an a, that might make him easier to beat than he was prior to the Vitali fight?

Anyone who thinks Lou Bizzarro was hurt against Duran just doesn't know this game.

What you don't know is that Bizzaro was taking private acting lessons from Marlon Brando.

This great fight may be off. Vitali was injured in a riot.

Klitschko. the WBC champ and older brother of Wladimir Klitschko, who holds all the other heavyweight belts and who fights on Saturday in Switzerland, got sprayed with tear gas during a protest in which he was involved in his hometown of Kiev, Ukraine.

Klitschko, who is running for mayor of Kiev, and other Ukrainians were protesting a Russian language bill passed by parliament that makes Russian, not Ukrainian, the official language in some formal settings in the country that was once a Soviet republic.

Once the tear gas was dispensed, the protest got violent as police used batons and more tear gas to subdue the crowd, per NBC Sports. Klitschko, who will defend his title on September 8th against Manuel Charr in Moscow, was photographed with blood streaming from his right hand. The World Boxing Council, with whom Klitschko holds the heavyweight title, said on Twitter the fighter suffered a gash on his right hand that required medical attention, and was gassed, but otherwise was OK.

 what a boring cunt. Street fights, political reform and cracking coppers with right handers.

I hope the fight is still on. I want to see the big waxed testicle get Charr Grilled.

Man, Lou took a beating in that fight that would have killed a normal man.

He went to the ER to be checked out afterwards if memory serves me correct, and Lou was a damn good fighter.

That was Manos de Piedra at his most destructive time, no one could stand up to him save for Edwin Viruet.

I'm not sure I would say Viruet "stood up to him" exactly, but he certainly did way better than most.

Duran was an animal, a killing machine back then and the best fighter in the world, totally invincible at 135 and he went through some terrific fighters.

Bizzarro's performance was strangely disgraceful and brave all at once in that fight

It was disgraceful because he came in and made no attempt to win, running for his life, round after round and scarcely throwing even a few half-hearted jabs in Duran's general direction. He was only there to survive and collect his paycheck.

On the other hand, in spite of that, he rose from multiple, absolutely fucking BRUTAL knockdowns that only a microscopic percentage of guys would have had the balls to rise from (including some earlier in the fight that were as brutal as those in the 14th and final round... there's no doubt that the fight would have been stopped in that earlier round today... the knockdowns were video-game quality) ... It's peculiar to see a guy show that level of survivor complacency from the get-go of a fight, yet display shocking levels of courage after being clobbered with hellacious shots.

All this talk about Duran...but it's obvious he ducked the awesome (because he was undefeated) Luis Primera. There is little doubt (and anyone who does doubt this couldn't have gone to college) Duran was intimidated by Primera's 15-0 record.

"Duran's entire career, including maybe the most dominating Lightweight title reign of all time and remarkable high points in three other weight classes, can be dismissed entirely based off of the second fight with Ray Leonard"

If you disagree with mikE's statement above, I have doubts about your ability to fully understand sanctioning bodies, statistics, and logic. I think you would flunk a college exam. mikE wouldn't. mikE went to collegE.

Primera was obviously a better win for Hearns than Duran was for Leonard, because Duran wasn't undefeated. According to boxrec, he lost to Esteban De Jesus, who in turn couldn't even beat some guy named Antonio Cervantes, who had *12* losses!
