Damn, Punk has stepped up as the new staff writing supervisor!

Personally, I'd like to see valdosta write a piece on betting tips, or even a Floyd-Pac prediction piece.

Seriously, as good as eloquent, insightful boxing analysis is, every site does that, or at least tries to. It's not enough to stand out from the crowd by itself.

I wager an article referring to Pac as some horrendous insect and describing in detail the vivisection of Cotto each round as a form of "prey" would be fucking hilarious.

And opinion pieces/polemics are good too. I say bring it all on. Of course, no guarantee it'll be published unedited, but I wager practically any half interesting article deserves a go.

I've already offered to help through PM's with Rydell, Mister REED, TKO and others. The offer still stands: I'm going to the Khan-Salita fight on 5/12 and can put together some bits and pieces if they are wanted.

If any of you dickheads could save me some money and get some press credentials, it would be appreciated...

I'd be happy to do some MMA stuff, but I'm gonna wait until everything is 'official' before doing anything.

I told David that I will go Savannah's and have a talk in the near future with Juan about his upcoming return go with Paulie, REED.

I'll give my thoughts on that, even though I thought Diaz lost the first time around.

I will have to wait and see what the reaction is before I say for sure I'll return full time as I will like to.

But, if it is going to be more of that same pablum from jealous and envious folks here that have a few drinks or whatever else in them, it will be a one and done situation, as I am doing this on my own dime, I don't have a lot of free time working two jobs, and the gym is an hour from my home.

I don't mind making sacrifices for folks that appreciate my efforts to bring the story behind the scenes to them as it is my way of giving back to boxing, but if that bs starts again, I guarantee you guys that's gonna be it.

    Talk Soon,

    Karl

Karl, you shouldn't worry about what people have to say, I'm sure more people appreciate it than not. Screw what anyone says, especially on here or anywhere on the internet for that matter.

Punk, Nobleart, TKO, and I own the site now. Equal partners. Domain is in my name on GoDaddy, and we all paid. We have to set up the server bill, which will likely go in my name as well, and then we all kick in a few bucks for the server.

We plan on upgrading the forum. Cupey still posts here and receives emails, but Noble and I have been the ones putting the articles up on the front page.

We own this muthafucka, and as for editors, etc, we don't have ANY of that figured out.

Cupey started this site, but he seems to have lost his taste for it. Talk to Punk, Noble, TKO or I, and I guarantee that you will be taken seriously.

Thank you for that Z, I don't to a degree, but some of those folks got way too personal with me and just turned it into a typing smack frenzy.

    Thanks again.

    Karl,
All due respect, you do tend to give AND take on this forum. Threatening bodily injuries and making challenges are not going to endear you to folks. The ones who make the insults to you are the ones who thrive when you respond.

My advice: do the boxing stuff because you love it. Believe me when I say that your efforts are appreciated. I will post articles and support our writers however I can. The General Forum should not be a place for anyone to get too far out of line as it is first and foremost a boxing discussion area---even though I know the discussions can get a bit salty and comedic at times.

    Ok David, thanks.

We'll see how the first one goes, but I may have to keep my involvement limited to being around the edges just a bit as I have been told, "OK Karl, we want and we will appreciate you doing a piece on Juan for fightbeat, but be extra vigilant not to reveal any camp secrets as this promises to be another tough one."

Understandable, but an "Inside-The-Training-Camp" piece would be great after the fight so that we can get an idea of what Juan was working on before getting into the ring. Prep and strategy would make for very interesting reading even though it's after the fact.

I am going to do what my limited free time allows me to do, fellas.

I put a lot of time and trouble into chronicling Juan's career five or so years ago, but that was then and this is now, and the only constant in life is change.

Priorities in life switch during time, as have mine, but I'll give FB a story regardless.

So you're saying that reading about a team's strategy and preparation for a fight going into the bout doesn't make for good reading even if it is posted the next day?
