I think this is a matchup where Ward is better suited to try to take things inside, where he was very good, and DM was not. At range, I think DM's hard, constant jab would be a problem for Ward.
Michalczewski's jab would give Ward massive trouble when getting inside, but I think he would do and would land some of cleaner shots. You'd probably end up with a close decision, with Ward on the right end of it. DM doesn't have the power of Kovalev to make Ward fight so timidly.
