I never said Ward was a huge draw, nor even a decent one. His attendance and TV numbers are there for everyone to see and they are not impressive. What I am vehemently rejecting is the notion that Ward is such a no name that it's impossible that RN would try to influence the officials for his gain. First of all, as I said numerous times before, guys who were much less unknown than Ward were the recipient of blatant corruption, and secondly, with this win, Ward now has numerous possible lucrative bouts on the horizon (GGG, Stevenson, Bellew). There were millions of incentives for RN to protect their investment in Ward, and rejecting outright the possibility of corruption being the case of him getting numerous dubious calls against Kovy is naive or dishonest

 

Weeks makes boneheaded calls in every fight he refs
