    lol. Nicely done.

I'll eat major crow if I'm wrong but I'm expecting a FOTY type of fight on Saturday. It's a tremendous aggregation of talent in that ring as well as pride. Kov wants revenge and Ward wants redemption. Both men are expecting to stop the other....and there is no love lost between them. All the conditions are primed for a great fight.

I think people are overlooking this one.

Ward ain't primed to stop any opponent ever

There's no buzz because it's been poorly promoted. Kovalev may be fighting for free

News of your boyfriend and McGregor getting signed has overshadowed all Ward-Kov discussion.

I am excited about Saturday, but to be very honest, not to the extent of the first fight. Not even close.

I personally feel Kov blew his opportunity to stop Ward in the first fight, and I feel the judges fucked him out of a decision he deserved.

I think this Ward's gonna win clearly and it's not gonna be as exciting.

Therefore, it's hard for me to feel as up for this one as the first fight.

    I'm still ordering it though.

ward is guaranteed 6 to 6.5 million from rocnation. rocnation will end up losing several mill. kovalevs purse is contingent upon ticket sales and pay per view. he is getting 75% of main events half of the promotion i read.

so lets say this fight does 150k PPVs. first one did 170k or so. kovalev would get 1.5 mill+ whatever the ticket sales generate. that is if it even does 150k buys

Yeah, I actually read about it on the Scene JUST after asking you. My lazy ass shoulda just researched it.

All the more reason why I hope Kov ends Ward's boring ass career.

And yeah, like Rocnation cares that it'll lose money on this fight...

I was looking forward to the first fight more, but not by much. I was out of town and couldn't order it. I'll be ordering this one, I think.

I agree that the promotion has sucked. Kovalev has plenty of highlight ko's to fill a commercial.

Main Events are some bums for not being able to turn Kov into the mainstream star Golov is.

Unlike Golov's docile, reserved personality, Kov is a mean sonuvabitch who says whatever he wants.

Combined with his style, how did he never become a mainstream name?

Golovkin's appeal has been helped by his nickname " Triple G". It's catchy. Also GGG is more likeable and more of a machine in the way he fights. Plus Middleweight has always trumped lightheavyweight in terms of mainstream appeal. AL-Fucking-WAYS!

I admit, you might have a point about a middleweight being more marketable than a light heavyweight.

REED Picked Kovalev to Win the 1st Bout, but is Taking Ward in the RE...

Ward ISN'T the Kind of Guy You Want to Give a 2nd Chance To...Beyond That, REED Used to Give Kovalev the Benefit of the Doubt in Regards to his Stamina, Thinking he "Paced" Himself Against BHop and Chilemba...

But After Seeing Kovalev ADMIT to Being Tired in the Ward Fight, REED's Convinced that's just Part of Kovalev's Makeup as a Fighter...Some Guys Have Suspect Stamina, No Matter How "In Shape" they Claim to Be or Look...

What SEALS if for REED is the Turmoil in Kovalev's Corner...Learning John David Jackson was HUSHED in the Latter Portion of the Ward Fight was SHOCKING...

Ward UD, More Convincing This Time...Hoping and PRAYING Kovalev Ends Him Though, as That'd Be BETTER for Boxing....

agREED. Slick cagey type guys can make adjustments during a fight. Give them a whole 12 more rounds and they'll probably do even better.

On the bright side for Kovalev it's what I also thought about Taylor-Hopkins 2.

Ward and Kovalev both weighed in at 175

Ward has Damian Lillard in his corner

Going with Ward via another close UD.

But don't overlook the possibility of the judges COMPENSATING in Kovalev's favor.

I agree that Kovalev's best chance was the first fight. And he got hosed. But there is a remote possibility that the knock-down Ward suffered inspired the aggression he showed. No?

Sorry to hear that. I felt kovalev deserved the decision. So i thought he got hosed. And following the knockdown, wars definitely ramped up his efforts to get close and smother kovalev.
