No Doubt. US Basketball would beat every team in the world. However the winner of the NBA are not world champions....they are US Champions.

There isn't one goddamn oversees basketball team that would have a snowballs chance against the Warriors.

If the fight runs a similar pattern to the last one, the judges will get it right this time.

REED's Grown to Like him More During the 1st Kovalev Fight and the Build-Up to the RE...

Ward's CHARACTER is Strong as Hell, Evidenced by his Response to the 2nd Round Knock Down and the Way he CARRIES Himself, in General...He's Not In-Your-Face w/his Faith, yet it's Ever Present...He's NOT a Shit Talker, Yet he'll Definitely Stand his Ground, Verbally...

He Flat Out REFUSES to Be Intimidated, by Kovalev or Anyone Else...

More than Anything, You have to Admire WHAT Ward's Accomplished, Given his Relative LACK of Overall Talent...He's a Cotton Candy Puncher and his Speed/Athleticism is SLIGHTLY Above Average...He's NOT Even "Special" Defensively...Yet he's Gone UNDEFEATED Since Middle School, or Earlier, and Literally Ducked NOBODY in the Process...

Sure, it'd Be Nice if his FIGHTS were More Crowd Pleasing, but Ward Wasn't BLESSED w/the Tools to Do that...

Granted, it's BETTER for the Sport if Kovalev Wins, but if Ward Pulls it Out, Controversy Free, it's Time Boxing Fans Tip their Hat to Him...

Ward has a lot of natural talent.

He doesn't have Roy, Floyd, Ali, Leonard, Whitaker type natural talent, but he hasn't gotten by on a LACK of talent.

I think ward is super talented. He isn't flashy. But flashy is not the same thing as talent.

Ward's Level of SKILL Faaaaaaaaaaaaar Supercedes his Natural Talent, in REED's Opinion...

If Fightbeat Rated Fighters Historically, Based on NATURAL Talent, Ward Would Be Just ABOVE the Middle of the Pack...

There's MORE To it Than You Think...

It's Also Done to ENTICE the Opponent Into Throwing...You Can Get Pretty Good Torque on an Uppercut Too, the Way Kid Gavilan Used To...

It was extra useful for Gavilan, too because he lacked one-punch power so it gave him an extra weapon

Ohhh, I definitely agree his skill supercedes his talent. Just saying, he isn't Tim Bradley or something like that.

But yeah, we could make a rather long list of fighters with MORE talent.

Starting with current fighters.... Chocolatito and Loma.

Punch was a Good Bit AFTER the Bell, Unfortunately...

Count Drakulich Calling it an "Illegal Punch"...Hopefully they Rule it a No Contest or No Decision, as Opposed to a Disqualification....

For What it's Worth, Flores was Also Punching After the Bell, Rigondeaux just Happened to LAND...

No Contest Seems the Fairest Call Here...
