cashout? what's that? a couple of hundred thousands if that? cintron would've gotten a possible 2 million dollar payday against cotto if he had beaten margarito.

The fact that he has been able to take so many great punches thruout his career. Cintron isn't that good and is mentally weak as soon as he can't knock his opponent out and works only in spots. Williams has problems with movers who limit his punch output, Cintron isn't a mover and Williams would easily get off 100 punches per round and win the fight.

Should ESPN fire Teddy Atlas, too?

Im not saying they should fire him from the announce table.

Im saying they shouldn't keep saying that he is still a great trainer and make out he makes fighters better and out coaches the other trainers. Look at the way they made out that Taylor would beat Pavlik because Steward was training Taylor and Jack Lowe the nobody was training Pavlik.

They are just pimping his name now because of what he has done in the past.

I recognise that he was once a great trainer, but now his fighters have no defence, regularly turn up unprepared, have no idea how to fight inside and get given bad advice in the corners.

Not a cash out fight for Cintron. There will always be a market for punchers. There's plenty of opponents out there he can look good against and make for exciting fights.

He just needs to stay away from guys with iron chins who throw 100 punches a round and can crack a bit.

He also needs to stop bitching to the referee everytime he crouches down to his knees to protect himself from a body shot and gets himself hit in the back of the head. :nono:

i highly highly doubt that. Judah would be having ZERO problems finding openings on Margarito.

Yeah but would he throw punches? As soon as there is some pressure he runs away and stops throwing punches.

Not as of late. He threw against both Cotto and Mayweather.

His punchoutput went down considerably against Cotto over the second half of the fight, and when he punched it was often one at a time.

And that's with Cotto not "boxing" nearly as much in that fight as he did against Gomez...he was coming in and left himself open for a lot of uppercuts...and Judah rarely took advantage, even though when he did he had some real success.

And let's remember, Cotto is a much shorter fighter than Margarito and I would suggest his chin isn't the same caliber.

I agree, even Steward knows he's useless, but he'll keep going for the cash. I remember he jumped out of the ring so he could let the cutman go to work and then you could tell he was struggling to come up with the right advice to give.
