That's what he'll do, and he'll lose because of it. Hatton is not the same fighter later in fights because when he energy saps, he walks straight in with his hands down. He'll need to be in MUCH better shape than he was vs. Collazo if that strategy is going to work.

I Guarantee Floyd is going to pot shot and wait if Ricky gets tired to really open up, but thats a big fucking IF. If Hatton dosent get tired then Mayweather will have no choice but to take chances late in the fight or he's done.

If Floyd becomes the agressor late in the fight, how exactly is Hatton going to deal with that? I have seen probably 20 of Hatton's 43 fights and I cannot remember him fighting backing up at all. I think Hatton's best chance is to flurry early and try to win a few rounds, and then conserve ebergy late so he can fight in spurts.

I think the pace that he usually sets will hurt him more than help him in this fight. Mayweather's stamina is superb, and his accuracy never leaves him. When Hatton's hands drop and he starts walking straight in and winging shots, he becomes a sitting duck for PBF.

Hatton has GOT to get the early rounds in the bank or put some serious hurt on early to have any chance.
Mayweather can make adjustments mid-fight & will conserve energy better.

    Yup.

It's important to remember, though, that Hatton had much more time to acclimate and "grow into" 147 this time around vs. with Collazo.

Two things make this a closer fight for me now: that Hatton looks that ripped; and that he came in at 145 (vs. right at 147).

I would have actually preferred he come in even lighter.

    Peace.

But how would that really benefit him?

Hatton plans on weighing around 152 on fight night. He had originally said he would weigh in at 140, but he's at 145. How would it benefit him to lose an extra 3 pounds or so if he's just going to re-hydrate back to around 152 anyway?

[IMG]Floyd has to be the biggest dick ever. Hell, even the black community is ashamed of his ass.

For as good and talented as he is, he is a total half wit with no personality of his own. He tries to act bad and gangsta and instead, looks like a complete retard:laughing:

And why in this picture is Floyd grabbing Rickey by the waist?? Hell, he grabbed his talleywacker a few weeks ago.:eeeek:

Is Floyd gay, stupid or both?

Sky Sports News tried to pull it and failed. Hatton got his curse off just in time. Ray Hatton said the motivation behind Rickys 145 was that Ricky isn't a welter and they aren't trying to pretend he is: - that was a mistake they made with Collazo, he figures.

I'll say this much: win lose or draw, the meeting of these two guys has given us more stuff to consider, more angles to mull over, more flops and possibilities and percentages and probabilities, more maybes ifs buts and perhaps than any other fight I can remember following.

I for one am happy to see him at 145, and I hope it works for him the same way it did for Joe Cal vs Kessler.

At 145, Ricky has plenty of filling out to do overnight so that whatever he packs on in that period he won't be too heavy come fight night.

And I have never ever seen Hatton in that ripped slab-like condition.

This has been an immensely enjoyable build up.

I once got in a fight with a guy and realised 2 seconds into it that I wanted OUT very fucking badly. I made a face and swallowed as I realised that I needed to get the fuck out and tried to make peace.

And that is what happened to Floyd at the weigh in tonight. His face says it all. Then he tried a bitch move by getting kids to point at Hatton.

Whatever else, Floyd Mayweather is a walking talking example of how uncool it is to try to be something you are not.

Look at those two thugs Mayweather and Hopkins conspiring in the background. Hopkins is a low down thug and he doesn't want Ricky to win a God-damned thing. Hopkins comments tonight prove that a Leopard never changes its spots.

All this out of the ring stuff means nothing. It's not like Floyd hasn't been in this position before against bigger,or faster or more powerfull guys than hatton. Once they get into the ring Hatton will recklessly come after Floyd, try to hug the shit out of him and get picked off in the process. Hatton has a night of pain coming to him :bears:

Seriously, why would anyuone actually WANT Mayweather to win this fight? I'm no Ricky Hatton fan, but Mayweather is a fucking tard, with a completely tired act. Floyd was much more enjoyable half a decade ago. Hopefully he punches out tomorrow.
