Like ODH, Mosley will have success dictating the pace since he's an actual welterweight and not a lightweight.

Weight is the only factor that determines "dictating the pace"?

    i didn't know that.

Tell me...is baldomir a Welterweight? by virtue of this did he "set the pace" against Floyd?

Scrubdomir was a pathetic opponent, and an oppurtune move, that even minimumweights were trying to get at.

it's Mosley, like ODH, who, by virtue of being a welterweight, will set the pace. Baldomir, because he's awful, did not set the pace, "despite" his being a welterweight.

you're looking for an argument where there is none - did you catch my last post? the one you quoted in your response?

are you with us? habla ingles?

My point is that Welter-fucking-weight has nothing to do with it.

He didn't beat Marquez just because he was bigger. He beat him because he's much faster, more elusive and smarter.

Floyd set the pace against guys that were bigger than him before...

It's about styles..it's not about the weight. I "hable ingles" very well thank you...

so if Mosley were a natural featherweight, he'd still be able to set the pace? or, by the same token, if JMM had been a true welterweight, their fight would not have been any different? get real.

Corrales was bigger than Floyd at the time they fought. Corrales was also a pretty good fighter with wins over Castillo, Frietas and Casamayor (lest you say that he was a bum).

    Who......set the pace?

you're arguing against a point i did NOT make. i know you think i said that because Mosley is big, that he could set the pace. but that's not what i said - at least it's not what i meant, which i know i've explained several times.

you're trying to suggest that size isn't a factor at all. but all things being equal, it is! do you know what the phrase, "all things being equal," means? it means that Mosley, being a true welterweight, has a better chance against PBF than Mosley, if he had been a featherweight. i'm pretty sure you're not arguing against that point, are you?

of course, this point also answers the question, "how did PBF manage to easily beat a P4P fighter in JMM?" the answer, of course, is that JMM is a fucking featherweight !!!

Like ODH, Mosley will have success dictating the pace since he's an actual welterweight and not a lightweight.

In whose fucking world does that statement mean that Mosley will set the pace just because he's bigger?

Why didn't I just leave out the, "Like ODH," and say, "Mosley will have success.....since he's an actual welterweight..."

I'll tell you why. Because the latter is not what I fucking meant to say. I meant to say the former! Which is why I said it !!!

    Let me be clearer:

Unlike JMM, who is a good fighter, but who is barely a lightweight, Mosley, like ODH, is not only a good fighter with fast hands, but also a welterweight, and therefore, will be able to set the pace.

“I’ve fought both fighters and I already know what’s going to happen,†he said, invoking Mayweather’s former “Pretty Boy†nickname. “I already know there’s going to be a knockout, I already know, and it ain’t going to be ‘pretty.â€â€™

Oscar picks everyone over Floyd. he doesn't like Mayeather. He picked Hatton to beat him and even picked Marquez to do the same.

Obviously he's going to pick Shane.
