I can't look at it right now because my computers going slow, but from what I remember, Mannys right hand comes up which blocks the view of the shot landing, his head also dips a little as the punch comes in which means he might have been caught on the very tip of the chin, but the punch was going downwards so it could also have been a solar plexus punch I admit. Still not completely sold on that though.

Regarding Khan, yep even I thought the chin was awful at first, even after the amateur fight with Watson, but he has looked alot less shaky recently and I honestly don't think it's as bad as people think, not saying it's solid, but it's not papier mache either. A guy like Pele Reid for example (jeez remember him?) had a truly awful chin, if someone opened the doors at the back of the arena the resulting gust of wind would have him on queer street, that's what people are comparing Khans chin to, and it really isn't as bad as that. He's had a tough introduction to the pro game but he's getting to grips with it now, he fought stupid before but he has improved tenfold since teaming up with Roach.

As for Torrecampo, from what I read he owned a market stall in the Phillipines and someone stole something from his stall, and he chased the dude down and stabbed him to death, not sure when it was but his last fight was in 97 so I'm guessing it was around then. Sad story, especially when you consider how different their lives have panned out.

A bit more on it, apparently he isn't in jail, he's a fugitive:

    http://www.sunstar.com.ph/static/ceb/2007/09/18/sports/quijano.the.deadliest.of.them.all.html

THERE are three men who can lay claim to the honor of having defeated the great Manny Pacquiao.

One is a Mexican icon, who later became his drinking buddy. Last time I checked he was being battered from pillar to post by lightweight champion David Diaz, but some would argue that Erik Morales deserved to win that fight.

The other is a Thai champion who beat Manny when he was young and reckless. He had a hard time making the weight and even
shaved his head in an attempt to tilt the weighing scales in his favor.

All to no avail as Medgoen Singsurat also called Medgoen 3K Battery knocked out a weight-drained Manny in three rounds. He is still active and scheduled to fight later this month.

Mighty fists, these men possess. After all, not just anybody can beat Manny Pacquiao.

But Rustico Torrecampo, the first man to beat Pacquiao, showed us last week why his hands are the deadliest of them all.

The published news report indicated that Torrecampo, who sells beef mami near the Pritil Market in Tondo, fatally stabbed truck driver Ernesto Ongkit after the latter sideswiped his noodle cart, spilling all its contents on the street.

The police noted that Torrecampo allegedly tried to talk to the victim but the latter instead, drove away, prompting Torrecampo to give chase. When he caught up with Ongkit he stabbed him to death.

As to why the victim opted to drive away instead of making amends for his fault is not clear.

Perhaps he thought the smallish Torrecampo was not much of threat. Or perhaps he was afraid he might be lynched by Torrecampos fellow vendors.

Maybe we will never know. His lips have now been forever sealed by deaths fatal kiss, administered swiftly by the deadly hands of a boxer who once knocked out arguably the greatest Filipino boxer ever.

Also Mex, seems we're not alone, the Filipinos aren't sure whether the punch was a head shot, body shot or low blow either

I hope once Khan, gets the Paulie fight out of the way, he goes after a top contender of the division, i think he could probably take anyone out of his division and above.

Khan will clean out 140 I'm in agreement with that. Bradley is rightfully #1 right now, but that will all change soon.

Ricky Hatton and Matthew Hatton should get in the ring together, slug it out and then both retire!

Matthew Hatton is a good fighter that will look like hype when he gets embarrassed by Floyd.

Matthew Hatton is an out and out bum. If you have ever seen his fights, and I have seen plenty, you would know this for a fact.

Your trolling on this ocassion has been extremely unsuccessful I'm afraid.

It's not a different game completely. It's a very, very similar game.

Just because you can name exceptions, the guy who won in the ams is the guy to pick in the pros all else being equal.

Your hyperbole is bullshit on this topic. Whenever 2 fighters have met in the ams, let's bet. I'll take the guy who won that fight, you can have the other guy. You'll be broke shortly thereafter.

It would. Khan would have a sizeable speed advantage but Mitchell hits a lot harder.

I'm really looking forward to this weekends fights, especially Mitchell-Katsidis. Make or break time for Kevin and I have a feeling he may have his work cut out. It could go either way IMHO.

    I don't get Mitchell.

I remember seeing his debut YEARS ago. A couple of fights later and he completely dropped off the radar, and i only heard him mentioned again about 18 months ago.

    What's the story there then??
