I would have no problem with belts if they didn't charged ridiculous fees. I think they should charge a fixed low fee.

agREED. Without having to answer to any sort of authority or rankings, fighters that are deserving and dangerous, but not marquee names, can be avoided.

If they were truly non profit, then that's how it should be.

Souleyman is a piece of shit. He had it good back in 1999/2000 when Roy was going around with all 3 belts. Not any more bitches. We dont need the sanctioning bodies and we dont need the Ring magazine either.

I agree, the RIng system is a joke as they can't enforce mandantories. Plus, it's very US centered ( and more worrisome, HBO centered ). Who knew Mayorga before he got his mandantory title shot vs Six Head Lewis ??? Same for Maidana in the Kotelnik fight ( sure he lost, but it put his name on the map ). Sanctionning bodies are needed, but they need to be reformed. A huge step in the right direction would be to ranked champ from other organisations in their ranking and give them a 50-50 split if they get to mandantory challenger status.

Well, I think that anything that diminishes the Alphabet organizations is a good thing, however I think people of course realize that Floyd's all about the money. At this point belts mean nothing to him, and they mean even LESS if he has to shell out a couple hundred grand or so to essentially buy the belt.

So while I didn't really see it coming, once I read about it, it wasn't a surprising thing.
