    Lennox 89-92 not champ for 3.5 years
    93-94 champ 1.5 years
    94-97 not champ 2.5 years
    97-2003 champ 6.5 years; not champ .5 years

    It depends on your definition of champion, too. I don't consider Lewis a champion until he beats Briggs. Lineage is important to me. Others may feel differently.

    I understand. I'm just stating there's no reason in the Universe Mike Tyson couldn't have been as potent at age twenty-nine or thirty as he was at twenty-two --- simply, he squandered his skill-set & gifts with a total disregard for discipline beyond the ropes. As such, I do not see any reason he couldn't have been champ from the moment he bested Spinks in '88 until, potentially, around 1996-98. With his head on straight & half a clue floating around in that blockhead of his, yes, I think there's a lot of potential which was, if not untapped, then certainly not drained, either.
