Taylor was a couple punches away from stopping Pavlik in round 2 but he blew it.

We learned that Kauki and Tyler are hands down the biggest fools around here.

We can all agree to that I'm sure. :bears:

The head moving is one thing. It moving and then snapping back the other direction is another. If you can't understand this basic concept, you shouldn't be talking about boxing.

When the back of your head hits between your shoulder blades with your arms down, and you grab onto the other guys arm.....I'd say you are hurt :dunno:

Right. But that's totally different from what I'm talking about, and you've been unable to figure this out for the past 20-odd posts. Pavlik was hurt in the second, but he arguably won the third. That's completely different from a whiplash punch, which ends the fight 99% of the time. Two? There's no way Taylor could have continued into the eighth round. That's why Taylor was stopped and Pavlik wasn't. You continue to argue the topic without addressing the point.

Pavlik could have been stopped, then you wouldn't have known if he could have continued with the certainty you possess because of what unfolded afterwrds. Accept that and speculate like me........ then we can get back to where Taylor could have continued since we can't look into an alternate Universe

Whiplash punch means end of fight. Period.

Exactly. That's why Smoger not stopping Pavlik was right, and him stopping Taylor was right. End of thread.

Smoger not being equal when refereeing, is not doing his job. He should have stopped Pavlik before he stopped Jermain, no way Jermain took twenty punches with his hands down. He should have let Jermain get an eight count at least, or stop Pavlik.

One whiplash punch means the end of the fight, period. Taylor took two. Pavlik took NONE.

Again, you have failed to give an instance of a single one. Again, I am NOT talking about the head snapping to the side. I'm talking about the head snapping to the side and then reversing direction. No offense, but you're getting into Slystaff territory here.

You have failed proving that he didn't, now what? More semantic head movements?

You said that he did. The onus is upon you to back up your statement. By that logic, I could say that God himself told me that Pavlik was okay, and ask you to prove that he didn't.

Okay, what type of punch caused Pavlik's head to snap one way and then snap the other. Was it a left or a right? A hook, a cross, an uppercut, an overhand or a straight right? How far into the round was it? You claim that you saw it, no? Then why can't you even remember what type of punch it was?

I typed verbatim what type of punches were thrown, and the effect they had. Sorry you haven't been paying attention.

The punch you keep saying Taylor received, did NOT put him down and he still had his hands up :dunno:

He was never hit with a whiplash punch the way Taylor was. How come you cannot accept this or prove it wrong?
