oscar landed a few jabs that briefly stunned floyd. he tagged floyd w/ a flush shot in round 12, but that was about the only clean punch he landed in that round. roach's implemented a decent strategy for oscar where he got him to push floyd against the ropes and tie him up. whenever they got in the center of the ring, floyd pretty much did whatever he wanted. it seems to me like oscar's combinations are more fluid when he's w/ floyd sr, but too bad floyd jr will block most if not all of them and counter him in the process. the only way i see oscar winning is if he consistently bullies floyd against the ropes and hope that the ref doesnt deduct any points for holding. otherwise, i see another 9-3 type win for floyd. IF oscar somehow wins, i'd hope he'd be a favorite over cotto so i can win some money. ::
If anyone should get points deducted for holding it's Floyd. He held every time Oscar got close. He wanted nothing to do with Oscar in close quarters. Nevermind the other illegal tactics Floyd uses like turning his back and sticking his head out of the ropes.
