What if Shane regained the form of his "prime"

Theres no way to really PROVE it, but IMO Arguello beats Marquez at any weight, and probably by stoppage. It woulda certainly been a war. Both are/were brilliant offensive techncians, and had extremely high ring IQ's, but I like Arguello to win out because he had a better chin, and by far the bigger firepower.

BTW - not really related, but for the sake of hatred I'd have loved to see Arguello vs Juan Diaz. Alexis gives Baby Cow the Kevin Rooney treatment.

 

It amazes me how people talk about Marquez chin but in all of his losses he has never been stopped even when goin against a guy 3 weight classes above his best. nd not to mention Pacman. Marquez has been down only like 3-4 times outside of the Pacman fights...I think his chin is solid.
I think Arguello and Marquez have the same chin to be honest.
