It's a waste of time. I read about people from the old days who lived off the land and never did exercise or anything, and they lived well into their 80s and 90s. All this "Get Fit" sh*t is a scam, it's just a way for pharmacists, doctors and trainers and them to get rich, by forcing people to adopt a healthier lifestyle. People are still living into old age just fine without exercise. These doctors and trainers and authors want you to buy all that exercise equipment, all those drugs and powders and stuff and buy their Get Fit books and videos. It's how they make money. Americans been living fine all these years. Live and let live.
Hanzy.. this is such bull.. Get Fit shit is a scam if you are a lazy bitch and eat like shit.. and try to have a quick fix people back then lived long becasue they worked.. ie Exercised.. even if you ate heavy breakfasts etc.. if you spend your day working on the farm you are using your body what kills us is eating garbage and sitting on our asses.. our bodies are BUILT to move.. we are the supreme animal and we have let ourselves become fat lazy slobs.. so.. i guess it's how we look at it.. some people think I have problems cuz I dont sleep much and I exercise a lot but i dont feel it's a pain or a waste of time.. i like to do it and i think our bodies are made for it
If you are happy and love your life then you will exercise to live long. If you hate your life and have a crappy job and a sh*tty family and friends, then you'll probably not care if you die. I see a lot of angry miserable people out there. People who don't have the money to enjoy their lives. People who can't get vacation time to get away from the 9 to 5 grind. I'm not making excuses for people who don't exercise but I'm saying that not everybody values life.
different strokes for different folkes Hanzy i agree.. people that hate life are less likely to care a lot of people are not happy out there.. and there are some that are fat and happy and if that's how they like it it's all good.. you know i'm sold on it for me cuz I sleep less and feel better exercising daily some like to smoke and get fat or something and that's fine too...
isn't that kinda sad Hanzy? it kinda makes me sick.. to see people just complaining and being miserable... people who are miserable sometimes have a view on things as if the world revolves around them. If you put so SO SO much weight in how YOU are involved in everything.. people just have crazy ideas of their place The world is spinning, grass is growing and life is all around weather people like or dislike is really not making any difference, things are just happening naturally and people act as if it is a plot for them to play in.. and it was all about them. i know some people too that are pretty fat and happy but active. I think active is the key, lazy bums who eat garbage.. are not going to feel good that's just the fact
Roll.. you sound too much like you wanna "Roll" with dudes.. take your own pics man and put them here
what outrageous claims? listen.. in all seriousness.. i have issues.. i do crazy pushups cuz it is almost an OCD thing.. it's just part of my day. I'm not bragging about it, i'm not the strongest dude.. i just do LOTS of pushups..
Almost 5ft7, almost in shape, almost care about looking like a bodybuilder. :: Just kidding, lads. I have a little kid, and he takes up all my time. Still, I get circuits and heavy squats done nowadays. And he likes to stand on my back while I do pushups. He's 40lbs or so (almost 3 st), so that's a decent addition to the pushup. :)
I lost about 25lb+ since then. I was getting fat, experimenting with an ill fated 'squats and milk' project. During last summer I was actually over 200lb for a bit but my waist was creeping over 35". In all honesty in retrospect my bodyfat % was optimistic. I have a naturally slight waist so when I put my measurements into estimate programs like Casey Butt's (which is still useful) it always comes back a couple % too low. In the pick I posted I was about 180, Im about 175 now. Im 6'1+. Bf% probably a realistic 11-12 now. It had been something I'd wanted to try for a while so I dont regret going for it, at least I know know it doesn't work for me. If I'd been 15 instead of 25, or if I'd really worked as hard as I might of who knows. It works for allot of people. I think I was just too insecure/vain to handle the fat gains. Im naturally very skinny. I have like 6.25" wrists.......Vernon Forrest shaped, naturally now, just about Bernard Hopkins shaped :: though without B-Hops 17" neck unfortunately. That'd be good.
