Except you are lying and you know it. I didn't pick Narvaez to win.
Narvaez did win rounds against Donaire although he may not have been awarded any by the judges. Nishioka didn't come close to winning a round, nor did he land anywhere near the quality of punches that Narvaez did except for a couple of nice shots after he got knocked down.

Narvaez lost 12-0... He was scared to fucking death and came to survive. It is disingenuous to claim he had success against Donaire.

Losing every round is not success.

What rounds did you have Narvaez winning?

Navarez came to survive and didn't win a single round.

Talk about trying to save face.

 at the idea of Narvaez winning half a round, let alone "rounds".

so donaire is going to fight arce next. what a complete mismatch. shitty fight, arce wont "come to fight" either and it will be a dull, predictable beatdown. who really gives a shit about this match?

The numbers speak for themselves and they are not shutout numbers, nor should the fight have been scored a shutout if you score a fight by what I consider to be the proper metric--who would you rather have been in the round? [edit: I can't shift the % numbers over so if someone else can post these better, I'll remove this table]

The idea that Narvaez landed twice as many punches in round 5 is laughable. Those punchstats are awful. Just watch your average amateur boxing match to get an idea of how useful or accurate punchstats are.

Despite being hugely disappointed with Donaire at the time, he didn't even come close to losing a round. That's partly because Narvaez didn't even try to win a round.

Arce fight is/will be awful, disappointing to see certain sections of boxing press suggest its an improvement over nishioka, mathebula etc. Rigondeaux could be boring if rigo becomes worried about donaire's power early, but its still intriguing and could be awesome, arce hasn't a hope.

The arce fight will be rubbish. He found a way out of his last fight and will be totally outclassed vs donaire. Just showing up for a cheque. One way beatdown. The other fight will be explosive with one guy goin to sleep.
