Would still love to see that one, but Shane will stop him in 7 or 8.

I may have to watch it again, but I thought he won it and I like Spinks and his style, I had him winning vs Taylor and Karmazin.

I agree, Shane was looking sharp tonight, and you know he is gonna take on Mayorga in the late Spring or Summer.

    Good call Karl; it's possible.

BMB: true, but that's good circulation. :)

Vargas sounds almost as bad as Hearns or Holyfield. I hope he never fights again.

I had Spinks beating Taylor as well (116-113). I think I had the Karmazin fight either a draw or a close win for Cory. Not one to rewatch, though (any of those three fights, for that matter).

Oh, since the r-by-r was thin as hell, I'll ask the board this as well - did Raul Martinez make his way to the PPV broadcast? if so, how did he look?

Jake: I THINK he wouldn't have done Duran; remember that Roy turned down Hearns as an old man too (not for egalitarian reasons; Roy just understoof the PR thing). But Mayo? Oh yeah. Paz-Roy...I still piss myself laughing when people bring that up as a quality win.

was a pretty decent fight, Mayorga still has some fight in him, and he was fighting a much bigger man in Vargas, would like to see him come back at WW

did he complain about the decision, or keep it limited to a retirement speech?

Mosley or Forrest at 154. Although I like the idea of Abraham/Mayorga.

 I don't mince words with my scoring, bro. Or my picks.

I had Spinks beating Mayorga close but clear; and had Taylor-Spinks a draw.

    Haven't scored Spinks-Karmazin.

    Mayo won clear tonight too.

    Peace.

nah, Mayorga doesn't belong at midlleweight and would get creamed by Abraham

Spinks DID beat Taylor but some people in media only thing it's okay for contract players who work for their buddies to win on soft shoe all night. I think I had Spinks-Karm for Spinks by like a point.

And yes Mayo would get creamed by AA, but if I'm AA's team I'd beg for that. If he's serious about getting into the big ass pot of money happening at 60 and 68, he's got to get into more markets. Hell, he might be the best of the lot.

Jake: I forgot that epic...the battle of Mayorga leftovers ensues!!!!!!!!!!!!!! At least Donaire is there. I'll just count my days until PBF-Hatton shocks the world (not the winner, just the quality.)

God damn, people, you can't even come through with a recap of post-fight comments?

What did Mayorga say? Who's the next notable fighter in line to kick his ass?

Did Vargas retire? Did he bitch about the decision? Did he even stay in the ring after the decision was announced?

I was at the Mayorga\Spinks fight, and there's no way Spinks won that fight.

Why don't you go on your own website to find the answers to your questions rather than take cheap shots at the folks here?

Relax. I don't think it was a criticism; looked to me like a sarcastic joke of sorts.

Thanks SK; I got lucky and found a good one. She got so amped going to Kessler-Calzaghe that now she's all "When can I go to a big fight again" and she's making sure the cable at our new place is hooked up for Hatton-PBF. LOL

Oh, and Jake don't need no one to back him but I'm pretty sure he's being ironical based on his last RBR here. Be nice Karl. :)

    Happy late Thanksgiving.

I thought Spinks won both those fights, but he beat Mayorga more clearly than he did Karmazin.

And for the record, I scored Taylor-Spinks a draw.
