Agreed. I had that fight 8-4 for Cory. I could see 7-5 also, but no way did Mayo win, or even draw.

To give Vargas 6 rounds, you had to be giving him every close round.

Vargas looked horrid for the first two rounds, then he settled in and looked okay, if still fat and slow.

Mayorga carried the weight okay. I'd guess he gained very little since the weigh in and probably isn't all that lighter on fight night for his 154 fights.

There was a lot of bullshit about Cintron looking so great since Margarito. Well, he looked exactly like he did against Estrada...right down to the same result. And I agree it's excusable when you have a hurt paw, i didn't catch that he hurt it earlier like others.

and I agree that Vargas, apart from the fist 3 rounds, didn't look to bad, slower than in his prime for sure, but not totally ass.

Don't hate on shitzau, Vazquez and guzman at 122 couldn'T stop him and he has only 2 KO losses in 18 overall... but Shitzau out of all people will knock him out??

 

I don't know when Vazquez fought him, but the Guzman fight was at least five years ago, if not longer. He's been stopped since then, and dropped by a bunch of other fighters, those with far less power than Litzau.
