It's "Cool" to Hate on Will Smith These Days...

Nonetheless, He's Been In Quite a Few Movies REED Likes and Re-watches, Unapologetically...

    Men in Black I
    Bad Boys I & II
    Ali - REED Didn't Stutter Eithero_O
    Independence Day
    Hancock
    Pursuit of Happiness
    Suicide Squad

Will Will (:D) NEVER Be Denzel, But Let's Not Pretend he's Kevin Hart Either...He Has a Certain Charisma and Charm To Him, Dating Back to His Days as DJ Jazzy Jeff's Emcee...

Getting Back to Ali, Will Captured his SPIRIT, His Blend of NAIVETY and Unadulterated BRAVERY...Did he Look, Speak and Move EXACTLY Like Prime Ali, Of Course Not...

But Having Children and KNOWING They're Not Going to Invest Time in Watching an Entire Ali Fight Beyond the Cleveland Williams Bout (Maybe), REED was Pleased w/the Film...2-3 Hours is Faaaaaaaaaaaaaaar from Enough Time to Accurately Portray Ali's Existence...Important Details/Events were Going to Be Left Out, Obviously...

Smith's Portrayal Gave the GIST of Who Ali Was, Albeit in Cookie Cutter, Mainstream Fashion...

Ali was Smith’s best performance but the film itself was a disgrace. There was nothing in that film that showed why Ali is considered the greatest... so I disagree with you, it didn’t accurately portray ali’s Existence at all.

I do rewatch a few Smith films like I am legend, MIB 1,2 &3, enemy of the state and Hancock ...but he’s very annoying and not a particularly good actor but just happens to be cast in some entertaining films. He was a better actor in the small screen than he is on the big screen.
