A fact the Mayweather faithful have yet to come to terms with.

The best business decision is to not get either guy in a fight months before a huge promotion.

Let's NOT Leave the DeLa-Arum BITTERNESS Out of the Floyd-Cotto Equation...

if,If,IF Cotto-Zab did GOOD #'s,that'll Put PRESSURE on Golden Boy Promotions to Get Floyd SIGNED to a Fight ASAP...

Whether it B a RE w/DeLa or a Fight w/Shane,Golden Boy Realizes it's Biggest Money Fight Involves Floyd Mayweather...

Peeps Can Talk about Floyd's Style,Whether he's a "Draw" or his Personality All they Want, but the Biggest Money Option RIGHT NOW for Shane,DeLa AND Cotto is a FLOYD Fight...

Hate to do it but i must expose Jin Muzsely's husband for similar hypocrisy.

    interview from boxingtalk:

BT-when are you scheduled to fight again?

    SM-Looks like September

    BT-Will it Be Floyd?

SM-I dont think so. Thats the fight i want, but he doesnt want it. Says he is retired, but then goes and chases an oscar rematch. I dont get it. since when does the winner beg for a rematch?

    --------

this coming from the guy who stalled out his whole career for over a year and a half while begging for a rematch against oscar?????

I certainly agree with this...the problem is...

The biggest fight for Floyd are these fights as well. If Floyd's prickish with the money, each of the other guys can make other fights and make money Floyd would feel is beneath him.

    That's the problem for Floyd.

I can't imagine Arum guaranteeing Mayweather $15 million or $10 million while Cotto gets half of that.

There's no way Arum gives up control over the promotion or guarantees Mayweather that kind of money...even if HBO is footing the bill, I can't see Arum doing business with Floyd.

As far as Golden Snaggle Tooth is concerned, the biggest fight for Shane is the Mayweather fight. Oscar got everything in the contract that he wanted and whether people want to admit it or not, Golden Boy still runs the show in a fight with Mosley and Mayweather.

Mayweather would end up with the bigger purse, but I doubt they give up control of the promotion to Mayweather Promotions (which is slightly more solvent than Philthy Rich Records).

The bottom line is, they need each other as much as the next guy.

truth be told, Mosley-Cotto is as unmakable as Mayweather-Cotto. Mayweather-Mosley is easier to make.

The common denominator is Top Rank and Bob Arums bitter ass.

    Please revise this libelous post!!!!

Besides, dontcha think the two losses to Forrest had something to do with this? Plus, you keep forgetting that Shane was active and fighting prior to losing to Forrest.

Shane spent time trying to make fights (Oscar rematch and the first attempts at a fight with Winky) whereas Floyd and company spend time talking about why they CAN'T fight people.
