Which Brings REED Back to what Seemed like an INFATUATION w/Curtis Stevens, who TALKED his Way into the Fight...Pretty Clearly THE BEST Guy GGG's Faced, to Date...It's Tooooooooooo Easy to SAY "Everybody" Ducks Golovkin...@ Some Point, You've Gotta NAME Names & SHAME Guys into Fighting You...But Instead of that, Golovin's Braintrust CONSISTENTLY Finds Lowest Common Denominator Guys for him to Face...REED's Honestly NEVER Even Heard of this Latest Projected Opponent:shit:...

People keep saying that the other top middleweights in the world are ducking GGG, but why would fighters duck one another?! Must be more to it or it's simply down to money. Anyway, this is a keep busy fight for GGG, but I hope he fights a top middle after this.

Beat me to it. Macklin gave the other belt holders a tough time and arguably beat one of them (although I don't think he did - it was very close). He'd at least proven he could hang at that level.

Who's HYPING Anybody, Neil???...The Point CONTINUES To Be Lost On You...Stevens ISN'T Great, or even GOOD by Any Stretch, but he's Still ARGUABLY THE Best Guy GGG's Faced...Hell, if Anything, Macklin's the 1 Being "Hyped" Around Here:scared:...

His having fought better fighters and his being ranked in the top ten, when Stevens is probably not even top 20

Ouma & Rosado were JUNIOR Middles that GGG's People Cherry Picked...Stevens Spent the Bulk of his Career @ SUPER Middle...Big Difference...& Ouma was 137 Years Old @ the Time Anyways...What EXACTLY has Proksa Done, to Be Considered BETTER than Stevens???...

That's just it, REED ISN'T Putting his Foot Down, Claiming Stevens is CLEARLY Better...But he's Certainly ARGUABLY Better, Based on Macklin Having Really Done NATHAN of Merit Either...

Like Neil and Slice said, Macklin has actually proved he can hang at world level, and be competitive. That is more than Stevens has proved, simple as that.

He's not great by any stretch of the imagination, but he's never been blown away like Gaybox did. Gaybox made him look like a total scrub, but he looked far from a scrub against Sturm and Martinez.

If Macklin Gets Brownie Points for HANGING IN There w/Some Guys, Why Can't Stevens ALSO Get Brownie Points for Putting Forth a CONSIDERABLY BETTER EFFORT than Macklin Did, vs. Golovkin???...After All, GGG is the CRUX of this Debate...

all them guys are better than stevens since they beat fighters in the top 50 of a given division. something stevens has never done.

i love the "he moved DOWN from super middleweight" logic.

if Reggie Strickland moved down to featherweight would it be a big win for Donaire??
