    Think about it. French flyweight wins the French flyweight title at 19. Gets his jaw shattered by a sniper's bullet. Resumes boxing and wins French featherweight title in 1921. Goes on to win the world featherweight title in 1923 just shy of his 30th birthday.

    Hardcore, and my pick for greatest comeback!

    Maybe you're right & I'm wrong, but I read this as being a reference to him coming back from that remarkable brain surgery issue.
