Tito would destroy SRR, he would eat his heart, he wishes he could stomp on SRR children's genitals so they could feel his pain.

    Tito > SRR

First, you said that ever power punch that Tito ever landed changed the fight. Then you said that almost every fighter who fought Trinidad got hurt. If you're too dumb to see the difference, try reading with your head closer to the screen. It might not help your R/C, but you'll probably get cancer, die younger, and rid the world of your pathetic existence.

I invite your retarded ass to quote me and show where I said every power punch Tito throws changes a fight. Maybe if you wipe the cum out of your eyes you'll be able to see better and not make an ass out of yourself. If your too dumb to see the difference try pulling your head out of your ass, it will not only make things more clearer for you, but you'll have plenty of room for all those butt plugs you keep buying.

I think it was one of those petty 'in response' threads, after somebody said Robinson hit harder than Tito on the Basilio vs Trinidad thread.

It definitely belongs in general rather than MM.

I can't be bothered to read all the back-and-forth in this thread (which seems to be just an extension of a debate that was started in this thread: Felix Trinidad vs Carmen Basilio @147 ), but if we're comparing one-punch power, Robinson was far and away the harder puncher IMO. In fact, I'd say the Robinson that blasted out Olson and Fullmer with one or two punches apiece was hitting harder than he ever had, even if he'd slowed down in most other respects.

"Far and away" is an exaggeration, and I love Robinson.

I think Robinson was the bigger puncher, to answer the question, but I don't think the gap is enormous. Both are top 4 of all time welterweight punchers - with the other two guys obviously being Hearns and Cuevas.

But yes, Robby was more likely to end a fight with one punch, therefore I do give him the edge.

I think there's guy who'd go over Tito in a welterweight punchers list, bit WW has had some bangers and when you get right to the top, it's hard to actually know but I'd say that the following could potentially hit harder.

Lopez, Jones, Walcott, Garcia, and Davis

I think you would be overrating the living fuck outta Colin Jones if you ranked him ahead of Tito as a puncher.

All the times Jones hit McCrory flush, if that was Tito, McCrory would not have lasted the distance.

Don't undersell Trinidad as a puncher.

Look man, those are just names I'd throw out if you asked for the back half of a top ten. I don't think they all actually hit harder than Tito, I'm just saying it's close.

I'd say Walcott and Garcia hit harder, the others don't.

I never thought of WW Tito as having the kind of one-punch power of Hearns or Cuevas. To me, his knockouts of elite fighters typically came about through accumulation and combinations. For example, he methodically broke down Oba Carr, and drilled Campas dozens of times squarely in the face before finally stopping him on his feet. I think Tito became a much more explosive puncher when he moved up in weight.
