Who is Next for Hatton?

Hatton has a chance right now to dominate 140. He should clean out that division. He definitely has a chance to dominate there.

 

I think a Fight vs. mayweather would be cool to see. I think hes to small for mosley, martgirto at welter. I think a fight with Cotto would be the best possible fight but for 140 you dont have to many choices because he says hes never gonna fight witter but you always got the MAgic Man. That would be the best fight at 140 for him

 

Theres always Harris to fight. Jake would be on suicide watch after that one.

 

If Hatton stays stateside, he should fight Malinaggi at Foxwoods or in NYC. That fight should create enough interest on the East Coast. If he returns to England, I would fight Witter if I were him. I think its a fight he'd win, get paid, and shut up one of his domestic rivals.

Ultimately he's going to have to move to Welter for his next mega-fight. Right now I think he'd lose to Cotto or PBF, Williams, and probably Margarito and Cintron too.

 

I'd like to see Hatton-Cotto.. I'm still not sold on Cotto, we'll see..

Collazo was a title shot. If anyone took a tune up at 147, it was Cotto with Quintana. Mosley also took one with Wilfredo Rivera, whom I'll hazard wasn't as good a fighter as his compatriot Collazo. Indeed, Rivera was stopped by Mosley in his first fight at 147, Collazo was dropped but made it to the bell. Granted, the Rivera fight was close but Rivera was an established Welter and it was Mosleys first fight over 135.

Moving up to 147 and winning the WBA Welter title in your first fight can hardly be classed as tuning up. It isn't a concerted campaign either, of course.

 

Cotto won the one of Welterweight title in his fight against Quintana...so Cotto vs. Quintana can be classify as a tune-up. :nono:

 

Now, if I knew JUST WHAT THE FUCK YOU SAID, we could continue debating.

I think the styles and illegal tactics of Fraud and Hatton may contradict each other perfectly. I'd like to see this fight. Pity it will never happen.

 

Collazos performances against Hatton and Mosley would suggest he is better than Quintana, for my money at least. Fuck it, Collazo did better against Mosley than Vargas did.

I just think there's a hell of a lot more left in Collazo. His size, style and skillz should be enuff to see him remain a major player at 147 for quite some time.
