Juan Diaz has already partially unified these trinkets at LW, he should fight Casamayor, or Julio Diaz to keep up what is started

Yes, Bill Tate was a well conditioned athlete comparable to Wladimir.

What makes you think that Wlad could fight a 20-round fight the way Tate and Semen could?

Why would he need to fight 20 rounds with Tate? He would catch him in 1. Tate was a fucking bum.

No more or less of a bum than Tommy Watson. Tate simply fought better fighters.

Tate was a fucking bum period. He only beat Langford when he was half blind and outweighed him by 50 pounds. Being big and fat doesn't make you a great fighter.

Tommy Watson at least fought Kid Choclate, Benny Sharkey, Cuthbert and LaBarba. That's a ridiculous statement to even compare the competition between the two.

Bill Tate fought the following Hall-of-Fame heavyweights. There's an asterix next to the fighters he beat:
    • Sam Langford*
    • Joe Jeanette
    • Harry Wills*
    • George Godfrey
    • Kid Norfolk
Here are other top heavyweights he fought:
    • Battling Jim Johnson
    • Gunboat Smith*
    • Jack Thompson
    • Kid Cotton*
    • Tut Jackson*
    • Bearcat Wright
    • Seal Harris
You're dumb to even think of saying that Watson fought better competition than Tate. He had two fights against Hall-of-Fame Fighters. Tate had 23!

That list is full of hobos. Cecil Harris was a "top" heavyweight?

There are no holes in the first five names, and Tate had 23 fights against them, 23 fights against Hall-of-Fame heavyweights. In 1917, Jack Dempsey refused to fight Gunboat Smith, Sam Langford and Frank Moran. In that same year, Tate fought and beat two of them.

Shutup, no back tracking. You called Cecil Harris a "top heavyweight", your whole argument is shot.

He was Colored Heavyweight Champion of the World, and he beat Gaines and Clisby. That makes him a top heavyweight.

when is that fight, should be decent. I'd want to see Juan fight the winner also, but if he got a fight with Julio Diaz and put it on the same card as a co-main event, well hell, that's like pie and chips! And seriously, who doesn't like pie and chips?

He knew that by signing with Arum, he wouldn't be able to take the big fights. It's his fault.

I see you finally figured out the "peor" doesn't have a "j" in it. It only took you four years.

Zahir Raheem- I think he deserves a shot! Alot of fighters like to avoid him because he is a very skilled fighter.

Skilled at what? Dry humping his opponent? Raheem is god awfull to watch and lost a close fight to Freitas he don't deserve a title shot.

Raheem's overrated as a hugger. One fight, and he's branded for life, like Bonecrusher Smith after fighting Tyson.

I wouldn't mind the clash of styles but the stink factor would produce more dislike towards Raheem, I'm not sure if Raheem could keep up with Diaz pace but I'd like to see if Raheem could make Diaz pay for trying to get inside close or just clinch

He held Juarez a ton as well. Raheem dry humps a good bit when he fights decent fighters.

He would just clinch. Diaz is way to strong for him. If he couldn't keep Diaz at a distance (which I doubt he could), he would hug the shit out of him.

Haha, I was mostly thinking of the Freitas fight. Freitas held some to but not nearly as bad as Raheem.

If the boxrec schedule is correct Singwacha is going to fight Jose Cotto. Good chance Singwacha losses that fight.
