Who thinks Harris gonna beat Witter?

The problem with Vivian is focus. He loses focus in a match and then gets into trouble in the cards. Vivian is a big and strong, and should be able to beat Witter, I'm just concerned if he has the focus to get the job done. That Lazcano fight is a good example. He doesn't listen to his corner sometimes and that hurts him in the long run.

No american books yet. You have to wait for them to open. I took a look at a couple of Euro books though and Witter was more than a 2-1 fav.

 

Pretty soon yeah. The 2 books I looked at can't be bet on by Americans. The American odds will be similiar when they open though.

Junior Witter is alot better than given credit for. I have been saying that for a while.

Brenden Ingle's style just works for some guys who have great reflexes.

It did for Hamed and Graham, ...and it does for Witter.

Witter will beat Harris fairly easily by decision.

No idea why anyone have any faith in Witter. When was the last time he actually fought well? He can KO bums impressively but against good competition he never looks to good. he wins but just not that impressively.

 

Alot of people say exactly that about Mayweather.

junior witter is a damn good fighter.....and i guarantee you that if we all knew, ...he is probably one of the most ducked fighters in boxing.

 

Floyd would look like Ray Robinson if he was fighting the bums Witter fights. Not to mention Floyd beat Witter's daddy.

Floyd looks good a lot of times. He's looked good against top guys. Witter hasn't. A lot of people think Kotelnik beat him (damn close fight). He wasn't to impressive against Ndou,Lynes or Corley either. Sorry but Witter has not looked good enough to be ducked.

 

I think Malignaggi would embarass Witter.

 

I know what you're saying dude. But I don't think that it is Witter ducking anyone.
He has constantly called out other fighters only to be put on the backburner, and he has talked about Hatton to the point that if I was Hatton, I would fight him for free just to shut him the fuck up.

Witter took on Zab Judah back when Judah was the numero uno contender iin the division.......on less than two weeks notice. Yeah, he ran. Yeah, he lost. But he made Zab look like shit for the first time, and he matched him in speed.
Since then......Witter has beaten all that he has faced. his competition hasn't been stellar, but I think that alot of fighters in the division look at Witter like he is too big the risk for the reward.

Now Witter holds the title. There is reward for risk now.

And he is facing a legitmate threat in a very good Harris.

 

Nobody wants to fight a stinker. Witter just recently aquired a belt, who's ducking him? Harris is willing to fight him, if he beats Harris then I'm sure Malignaggi would be willing to fight him. Paulie isnt scared to fight anyone. Hatton after he loses to Floyd will probably be willing to fight him, to get a belt.

 

And Witter will beat all three guys IMO. I have always thought that Hatton is made for an unorthodox guy like Witter.
Witter is fast, and his shots carry deceiving pop......and Witter doesn't get hit alot.
His stamina is a question mark sometimes. so is Cotto's.

 

You need stamina to beat Hatton. In fact, thats the MOST important thing needed to beat Hatton. Witter doesnt have it. His only chance would be to stop Hatton early, but Ricky's chin is too tough for that. Hatton would wear Witter down.

He has a chance of beating Harris though, only cause Viv has a dodgy chin.

Personally I think Malignaggi would outbox him.

 

Witter has a style that is hard to deal with for most fighters. Hatton does great as long as he is able to exert his pressure/clutching and mauling style. witter's style is going to give him problems, and yes Hatton has the stamina....but how much damage is going to be inflicted on Hatton in the first few rounds??

I wouldn't be surprised to see WItter take Hatton out within 7 rounds...in an easy one.

Witter has more of a chance of beating Viv than you're lettting on. Witter can outbox OR outslug Harris.

And Malignaggi probably has the best chance because of his range, speed and boxing skills. But I see Witter catching him with something.

 

Man I couldn't agree more.:clap: That is a decent fight for Paulie to make if Witter does get by Harris.
