I couldn't have said it better. I watched it live on a stream, then I downloaded a 60fps HD copy and watched it intently. It was then more clear than ever than Bradley really was hitting air and gloves all night.
I can only assume that in those rounds where Bradley "won" 2 minutes of the round, the judges and others gave them to Bradley?
I wonder why Manny mainly only fought the last third of most rounds? He did come in relatively heavy. Maybe he didn't trust his conditioning.
You know, besides losing most of the rounds, and I hate to say this because I'm a Bradley fan, he looked like absolute shit in there. Wild, flailing arm punches. Off balance. Crossing his feet. He looked like awful I thought.
a friend and I were bored, so we rewatched Avengers in 3d the other day.. afterward I said "the Hulk vs Loki fight scene was really the best part of that movie" and he said "I heard the Pac/Bradley judges called it a split decision for Loki"
You realize Manny fights the exact same way. he's often off balance when he misses...he doesn't have the best footwork (despite what Lampley will tell you).
That's not remotely true. Pacquiao has some of the best balance and footwork in the sport. It's Khan who looks like a homeless Pacquiao impersonator, and the main reason for that is he doesn't have Pacquiao's natural agility and balance.
I agree. I've been telling people for ages that Bradley is legit, but the truth is, REED was pretty accurate in his description of Bradley looking almost like a clubfighter at times. Unimaginative, basic, sloppy, inaccurate. It was probably the worst Pacquiao has looked too, and the most tepid he has looked in his career. I still believe Pacquiao is more beatable than ever now, but Bradley is simply not as good as I thought.
wrong on both accounts. Floyd has the best balance and footwork in the game. He's always in a position to punch. Can lead or counter. Pacquaio for all his skills is only effective when moving forward and can be timed and hit when off balance...why do you think he's had so much trouble with Marquez? For as much as Bradley's getting shit on here, he sure made Pac look terrible in spots. Have you ever seen Manny miss as badly as he did vs Bradley?
You yourself have given Bradley 4 rounds throughout the various threads, despite how 'bad' you think the decision was. Take any 2 given "Pac was robbed" believers, put together their scorecards and you've got an even fight.
Pac won clearly, I can't see it any other way. Look at the polls, press row scoring, it's all the same and unanimous.
Wrong on both accounts. I said some of the best, not THE best. Plus it's a lot easier to have perfect balance when you have a conservative style like Floyd, not so much when you're steaming forward at high speed throwing vicious combinations. Regarding Pacquiao missing, that's easy, against Mosley and Marquez. Pacquiao looked much worse than usual in those fights, which was the main reason I picked Bradley to win a close one, I basically thought Manny was there for the taking against a good, determined fighter. But the truth is Bradley didn't make Manny look terrible at all, Manny just isn't as good as he was, it was Manny that made Bradley look terrible for 10 rounds. Bradley looked downright basic and sloppy against Pacquiao. Slower and less skilled than I expected.
Pretty much yes, mostly the 10th and 11th. But after combing through these threads, I've found these rounds given to Bradley specifically by people who thought it was a clear Pacman win: 1,2,7,8,9,10,11,12 That's 8 rounds. I've also seen the 5th and 6th rounds mentioned as POSSIBLE Bradley rounds. I don't think Bradley won 8 rounds (and certainly not 10), but I think there were ALOT of close rounds, and calling the fight a draw is a fair assessment. I only saw a couple clear rounds either way for each guy.
