If you had the power to cast any actor/actress for a remake movie, tv series or adaptation, what it will be and who you would cast?

I think that the 60's tv series "High Chaparral' deserves a big screen treatment.

For the main roles I would cast:

as Big John Cannon: Sean Bean

as Uncle Buck Cannon: Gerald Butler

as Blue Boy Cannon: Zac Efron

as Manolito Montoya: Gael Garcia Bernal

as Victoria Montoya- Cannon: Salma Hayek

    as Sam Butler: Scott Eastwood

My dream movie, mostly copy & pasted from another thread.

Remake of the "Point Break 2015" remake.

    "The Point Breakiest"

Ray Liotta plays Johnny Utah, Robert DeNiro plays Bodhi, and Sharon Stone plays the clueless ingenue.

Pacino obviously has the part of the pursuing FBI agent "Pappas". Is he dirty, Is he clean, or does he just love fucking with surfer dudes and eXXXXXXXXtreme Athletes??????

Joe Pesci is Bodhi's little sidekick who gets shot in the head near the end. Of.......................course. Sometimes the obvious choice is obvious for a reason.

IMAX 4D Huge Screen Experience. Sign Me The Fuck Up!!!!!

Okay but does it contain an exact reshoot of the greatest scene from the original:

Of course. It's in the remake, so it would obviously be in the remake of the remake.

    Fucking duh!!!

If I could control any franchise, I'd pick Highlander. I wouldn't do a reboot but a rebranding. Get away from the Scottish Highlander characters and make it more about the overall "game" of the immortals fighting one another until one is left.

Would love it as an HBO series so you could do the violence adequately and bring in big time actors.
