Spinks has no style..at 160...Taylor did not knock him out..cause Taylor fought like a bitch.. even Manny was telling him this guy can't hurt you..and Taylor was backing away..trying to box with Spinks don't box him..DOMINATE HIM..

I bet. Hopkins is too smart for Pavlik. Hopkins also has a great chin. The only thing that worries me is Hopkins age. But the man never seems to get old.:bears:

Yep, AGE is always a question mark when it comes to Hopkins. You just never know when he'll become an old man overnight...

If Bernard demands the fight, I seriously doubt it will take place at 160.

So long as Kelly wants to remain a middleweight, I'd rather see him defend the title rather than chase champs/titlists at higher divisions.

    Yup....defend and/or unify.

I'd love to see him try to unify 160 and clean it out.

I can understand and admire (to an extent) fighters doing the "PxP thing" but that's happening too much recently.

    Peace.

Just so he can run laps. Fuck Hopkins. I don't wanna see a young entertaining fighter in with that stinker.

    I agree about Duddy.
That would make it about six months between fights for Kelly, who is at his best when remaining active, though.
March is a long ways off, and a lot of things can happen between now and then as you are talking about remaining inactive for two seasons.
If I was onboard with him, I'd like to see him fight again NLT January as gym work is all well and good, but there is no substitute for a real fight to keep a fighter sharp and the rust out of the muscles.

sly's hoping for Pavlik to fight any of the stinkers Jermain faced, just to compare performances and hope that Pavlik looks like an unskilled plodder in comparison. Stylistically, the only one I'd see giving Pavlik any problems is Hopkins, just because he'd do all he can to make a stinkfest out of it.

If, if, if Ouma, Spinks and Wink fight Pavlik the way they fought Taylor, every last one of them get got.

I agree, though I'm thinking that Pavlik could use the break. He took a lot of shots even in all three knockouts this year. He's basically going four months between fights now, perhaps an extra two months rest wouldn't hurt him for the next one, so long as it doesn't become habit.

REED would LIKE Pavlik to Fight as Often as Possible & BUILD on the Momentum from the Taylor Fight Rather QUICKLY, but as U Said, he's Had 3 HARD Fights this Year...

Even in Beating Zertuche & Miranda N Relatively 1-Sided Fashion, Kelly Took ALOT of Shots...

Take some Downtime, Come Back, WAX Duddy (Even a RUSTY Pavlik ICES Duddy N 3-4 Max)then Fight a MEANINGFUL Opponent Next Summer (Abraham, Sperm,Taylor II, Whoever)...

I agree with Jake and his country twin, REED.

Pavlik needs a rest and March should be a good time for him to come back. Plus, he waxes Duddy. Duddy simply isn't that good. All he's got is a lefthook and I seriously doubt he'll hurt Pavlik with it.

A fight with Mora would be a waste of time. You have a guy who throws a ton of punches and can't punch. Not a good matchup for him.

I second that, or third or fourth that.....Jake,Reed,FOM, yep me makes fourth. Pavlik would do hemself good with a 6 month rest I love the St. Patty's day fight with Duddy. Good payday for him as well as good showing. Clean out MW and challenge Kessler (once Kessler KO's Joe.):cheer:

Hopkins "could be" OOZED into a Pavlik fling I guess, only when all other oppurtunistic avenues have been suffercated, but it would be on Hopkins time ofcourse, "move up and fight me runt, on 1 weeks notice" as per usual, what's the honourable alternative?,.. Calzaghe? :crafty: buisy buisy buisy,...Kessler? :crafty: bitey bitey whitey,.... :eeeek: DAWSON *SQUEAL!!!!!* ~~~~his eyes roll back lapsadaisically into his night-mare of a centaur, by way of a prime Roy, a queen ventrical with swarming fists, which raises hives of chicken pox, or is that goosebumps?, Hopkins would um politely...ah? what's the word, 'decline that particular invitation', he is a bluff personified, a grotesque puff adder, Jermaine is and will forever be his keeper and milker, I think Tayls should just move up to a more invigorating weight, and tear the arse out of his possession, since his desperate CLINGERS haven't got the message yet, :crafty: feel the PIERCE of Jermaine's fork.

even though stinky is old....demolishing him in impressive fashion would create argument that he could have done the same to a prime Wright

I wanna see Pavlik against Winky. I think Winky did beat Taylor and should have been the champion at 160.

I think after messing around at 170, Winky will look better at 160 and is instantly one of the best fighters at the weight class.

I don't care for Duddy. I don't think that guy has done enough to warrant a fight with Pavlik. :dunno:
