Besides....Blue Ray and PS3, that shit was the resposnibility of the Japs, not NASA. But the Japs wuz running around Nagasaki and Hiroshima in loincloth, so PS3 was kinda not a priority. In the absence of PS3, the Moon seemed like a good idea for the rest of us humans.
The Japs had color TV, but were perfecting a flat screen version to save money on transporting it to the US. Hence the delay.
And a job picking his strawberries. Any wonder Vargas had a shit trainer. Fucker was only good for strawberry pickin. But, ummmm, he didn't half pick some beauties.
I have alot of physics post high school. Yes the moon does have some atmosphere. You need to understand, like I said.. everything is on a scale.. the atmosphere of the moon is infinitesimal compared to that of the earth.. atmosphere exists in space.. it is merely the particulate matter that is surrounding the object being related to// and varies from dense to highly sparse. A denser atmosphere creates a higher rate of heat transfer. Wind chill, for example, is in effect a pseudo-dense atmosphere.. since there is greater particle interaction between the air and objects in it's path. Being on the moon, with a sparse atmosphere.. is like having a negative wind-chill, if you can imagine that. Objects in it's atmosphere are very immune to the surrounding temperature, whether it is hot or cold.
From the Museum of Broadcast Communications: http://www.museum.tv/museumsection.php "In 1934 Guillermo Gonzalez Camarena built his own monochromatic camera; by 1939, Gonzalez Camarena had developed a Trichromatic system, and in 1940 he obtained the first patent for color television in the world." http://www.museum.tv/archives/etv/M/htmlM/mexico/mexico.htm opcorn:
According to DARK SIDE OF THE MOON, the most important film of its kind since Oliver Stone's JFK - or since Rob Reiner's This is Spinal Tap, at any rate - images of Neil Armstrong's walk on the moon on July 20, 1969 were shown to the world through the lens of master film-maker Stanley Kubrick and were staged on the same Borehamwood, U.K., soundstage where Kubrick made his landmark film, 2001: A Space Odyssey. Don't believe it? Consider the evidence. Still images taken of the American flag on the moon showed it waving this way and that, but, as Dark Side of the Moon points out, there is no wind on the moon. The moon is affected by extreme temperature changes, which are exacerbated by its lack of atmosphere. The camera supposedly used to take the lunar stills, a Hasselblad 500, would not operate at temperature extremes that cause chemical changes in film emulsion. Mechanical parts expand and lenses loosen in extreme heat. Exposure meters fail and film shatters like glass in extreme cold. X-rays from the sun would fog the film, and ultra-violet rays would distort the colours - yet the colours in the Moon landing pictures are perfect. Gravity on the moon is one-sixth that of the Earth, which means that an astronaut who would weigh 140 kilograms in his space suit on the ground would weigh only about 30 kilos on the moon. And yet the depth of the astronauts' footprints in the sand on the moon suggest they weighed much more than that. None of the photos taken on the Moon showed evidence of a flash. You would have seen a flash, experts in Dark Side of the Moon insist, because the astronaut taking the photograph would have been reflected in the visor of the other astronaut. I'm drunk, so excuse me, but... ...are people seriously suggesting that the moon landings were BS? Seriously?
If people believe wholeheartedly in the Bible, they can sure believe the moon landings were staged. Just like some idiots here think humans rode ontop dinosaurs 6000 years ago. ::
WTF??? 6000 years ago? The dinosaur was going strong right up until the great Steroid scandal of 1988. :nono:
The flip side is:- if the Moon Landings WERE staged, how did the DUMB ASS YANKS come up with the idea FIRST Surely, Communism would have given the Soviets the edge in making these kind of smart decisions. Or maybe the COmmies didn;t want to lie to anyone.
Yeah, like they went into orbit with the same scenerio you just laid out , it just plain never happened  :notallthere:
anyone who thinks the moon landing was staged is an idiot, what proof do you have to support that stance? none
You can't go into outerspace with that kind of technology, besides......you would boil or freeze
