Why didn't Kessler fight more rounds the same way he fought the 12TH?

Honestly...how many times had you seen Kessler fight prior to the Calzaghe fight??

Who crowned Kessler anything anyways? All Kessler was was a legitimate champion who has soundly beaten some decent opposition.
And as far as being overrated, this is obviously not the case since he gave Calzaghe a great fight.
