dymipepel .. the d <-- with a little head and an upright, alert ear, the 'y' is like a little triceratops shield for you to bluff predators in the wild, and you've got an elongated body like a silkworm, with little leg segments where the p's rest, the l is the tail, it's upright and excited by your enthusiasm for feeding.

and I think it's time for your meal, Dympeople...

Why do you think Zoo quit in his fight with Ricky Hatton, but Floyd knocked Hatton out?, is this a reflection of the quality of each fighter against similar opposition?

I don't think they should be viewed any differently. Didn't Mosley get a year suspension? Lots of people are calling for Margarito to be banned for life but until all the athletic commissions put in firm rules i think this punishment is fair. Toney and Vargas both got a year didnt they?

ALso how did MOsley get caught again? was it balco? or was it something on top of that?

Mosley should be banned for life too. He is a cheating scumbag who still couldn't beat the best even with help.

To Date there ISN'T a TRIED & TRUE BENEFIT to Using Steroids in the Ring...Fernando Vargas Got his Ass WHIPPED by Dela while ON ROIDS...Sugar Shane Fought MUCH WORSE in his RE w/Dela while ON ROIDS...

Obviously, there's the POTENTIAL for an UNFAIR Advantage by Taking Roids, but there's a BLATANT & APPARENT UNFAIR Advantage by LOADING your Gloves....

    Apples & Oranges...

NO, the Intent ISN'T Different, but the RISK of Facing a Guy w/LOADED GLOVES is MUCH MORE APPARENT & IMMEDIATE than the Risk of Facing a Guy on Roids...@ MOST, Steroids Helps w/FATIGUE...But It WON'T Help U Punch HARDER than U Already Did...NOR will it BUTCHER an Opponents Face, as Loaded Gloves Will...

How do you figure? DLH took Mosley's shots at 47 MUCH better than 54, even if he maybe won that fight while losing the other.

Is there another fight to draw a hypothesis from?

And also, AT MOST helps with fatigue? Is that not a major benefit, potentially dangerous benefit?

"How Does REED Figure"???....Dela ARGUABLY WON 1 of his 2 Fights w/Sugar Shane...The 1st Fight w/Sugar Shane ISN'T 1 of them...If Anything, Roiding Up HURT Shane, Because he Felt like he Could OVERWHELM Dela w/Power & Ended up Getting OUTBOXED....

"Is there Another Fight to Draw a Hypothesis From"???...Yes, Dela vs. Vargas, which REED Noted EARLIER...

WHEN has it PROVEN to B to the SEVERITY that LOADING YOUR GLOVES has???...The Bottom Line is, Using Roids can CONCEIVABLY Impact a Fight...Whereas Using Loaded Gloves DEFINITELY Impacts a Fight...

There's a CLEAR, APPARENT & IMMEDIATE Advantage, Dude...

I just said the same thing. DLH may have won the 2nd fight but obviously the shots hurt him much more.

Would a fighter with loaded gloves not try to overpower another fighter? Would he stay at a distance and pump the jab instead? That doesn't make sense to me.

Can you name some a PROVEN case of loaded gloves? B/c Margarito DOESNT have one.

And the only PROVEN cases of steroids we have are Mosley, Vargas, Jones Jr., and Hall. So it's tough to draw a conclusion.

Steroids can be of course real dangerous of course, I mean, fighters take them to "enhance performance" and enhancing performance in this sport means doing physical damage to your opponents.

I think part of the reason why people are less forgiving of glove-loading is because of the history of it in boxing with Resto-Collins, while I'm not sure of any KNOWN tragedies like that involving steroids or other PEDs.

Also, there might be the belief that lots of people (myself included) that many people in boxing (and all over sports) are on some sort of PED, while how many fighters do you think actually put the elements of plaster in their gloves?

Not that it's necessarily right, there's still a bit of a double standard, but that's what I think.

I agree 100%. Especially with Resto-Collins. But, is it responsible to WAIT for a tragedy rather than prevent one?

MMA tests BEFORE fights, why does boxing wait? Blind eye?

I think it regards to the 2 DLH-Mosley fights, I look at other factors in Mosley performing worse in the rematch while on PEDs.

Mosley was at 154, while he was better at both 135 and 147. DLH was more adjusted to the weight, as he'd been at 154 for over two years.

Mosley was at a low point in his career, having not won a fight in over two years, including the rematch with Forrest when he looked to be lacking confidence.

DLH also fought a more intelligent fight the 2nd time around, where as he was more happy to engage Mosley in the first bout, as the "speedy slugger" Mosley excels in the exchanges as opposed to being in a more tactical boxing match.

Nevertheless, Mosley noticably bothered DLH when he tagged him clean in that rematch, much more so than the first fight.

As for Vargas, well, DLH is simply a better fighter than Vargas. Only so much PEDs can do.

I think there are many handwrapping tricks that are overlooked, we ofcourse know that Hopkins marinates and hardens his tape in ice-water,.. and there are suspicious incidents that mostly happen on 'house cards' for example,.. Wlad, who wouldn't take his left glove off after his rematch with Brewster, he took the right off, kept the left one on until he got back to his dressing room on his K2 card,.. and boy, did he throw alot of jabs that night...[IMG]

PBF didn't know Margarito was loading his gloves when he refused to fight him. And even if he did, he could've seen to it before the fight that Margarito's hands were properly wrapped.

You should seriously rethink your unconditional support for PBF and everything he does.

If a casual boxing fan like myself knew it, then clearly, a boxing professinal of the highest caliber, such as PBF, knew it as well.

I would refuse to fight a known cheater on principle.Breaking the rules should only be forgiven, after the offender served an appropriate punishment.

I don't unconditionally support anyone. I objectively look at all the pros and cons of every situation, and only then form an opnion.
My approach led me (years ago) to determining that Margarito is a poor man's copy of Baldomir, when he's allowed to cheat, and even worse fighter, when he's not allowed to cheat.
Your approach (of blindly and unconditionally accepting whatever lies and untruths Margarito fed you, left your credibility as a poster shuttered, besides making you a laughingstock of a fightbeat, and a thoroughly bitter and disilussioned man.

You have to realize that we don't know half the truth of fighters roiding, because they are not tested during training seasons. Roids don't help you in the fight so anybody who gets caught from them is plain stupid. However, they do help in training and in there they definitely have fight-altering impact

Taking them too close to a fight date won't help, because your muscles won't gain more power or your blood can't carry more oxygen in a couple of days. So if you got a shot of steroids in the dressing room, it wouldn't help you any but you'd get caught in the tests. However if you take them through the training camp, you have the ability to train much harder and that naturally helps
