I mean, I'm fairly new to this forum an' all, but even over the last six months, this forum has taken a beating.

Don't get me wrong, I spend FAR too much of my spare time on here, and I love this forum and the people on here, but there is an element who, for whatever reason, want to show how much testosterone they have and gang up on folk who just want to fuck people off.

I mean, for all that Stafford and I disagreed a lot, at least he was here, contributing and creating debate. Isn't that what forums are all about?

Even if you disagree with the guy, what the fuck was all that Horse shit about? Why would anyone waste their spare time coming online and having the piss ripped out of them for offering an opinion??

If it carries on at this rate, this forum will be officially FUCKED in 12 months or so. Sad but true...

Don't have one mate- just know what OC told me yesterday (about the ban being three months) and I can't find the thread where he and REED were arguing.

May I add that although the ban was coming as soon as he started with the racial shit (I did read the thread- I just have no idea where it is), three months seems harsh. But, then again, one mod in this thread has called him a 'forum cancer', so he has clearly put some noses out of joint in a major way this time...

 

OC can be funny as hell, but he's making almost every thread racial and not in a funny tongue in cheek way, he's got real venom. I think the ban is appropriate. Sure, we cannot really afford to lose members but considering how many times he was warned, I won't shed a tear for him.

 

I am not rascist, and although sometimes rascism can be quite funny (aimed at or coming from whatever race) - I don't condone rascism.

So it shouldn't be tolerated here BUT, I would just like to say 3 months is a bit harsh. Maybe a couple of weeks, 3 months is silly.

After 3 months he'll be more annoyed and aggravated than ever, and it'll come out in racism ::

I think baby steps would be better.

Each time some serious rascism is spotted, a week's ban on the spot. But consistently, like you would train a puppy, so they know they can never get away with it.

Better than tolerating it to a certain point then issuing an over the top 3 month ban in my opinion.

 

This is pretty much my opinion too.

I carry NO truck with racism, and OC can be a vicious little Irishman, but three months seems overly-long to me. Especially when you consider how many members this forum is haemorrhaging at the minute.

He was being pretty much as he always is- over the top and deliberately provocative. I can't find the damn thread (I thought it was the Ottke thread...), but he and REED pretty much bounced a ball between them for twenty or so posts, during which time OC got more and more racist. As he tends to do when he gets his back up.

I like OC- he's a good guy and a prolific poster BUT (and I'm sure he'll be reading this) he DOES ask to be banned when he wanders off on his rambles about 'Africans' and 'Bidness' and other such stupidness. And he has been warned man, like a million times. As MWS says, 'some' racism can be funny, but OC's can be vicious and he has pissed people off big time, hence the lengthy ban.

Three months is too much though...

 

OC is a VERY FUNNY (@ Times) & Creative Poster, but he has Anger Management ISSUES...

The INSTANT he Senses 1 of his Favorite Euro Fighters is Being DISPARAGED, he LOSES it...& WHEN he "Loses it", he IMMEDIATELY Resorts to Race Related Material...

He Officially "Lost it" on the MichalSHITski-Ottke Thread...Him, REED & IMDAZED were Debating & OC Lost his Cool...From there, he Started Bringing his Racial Venom to Any Other Threads he Saw REED posting On(@ Least 2-3 OTHER Threads)...

OC's "Prediction" was that the "Black Guy" would Win:: ...But from there, he Posted about how "The Negroe will Win, Blah, Blah, Blah"...REED Chimed N & Basically Told OC to "GROWthefuckUP" & he Replied that He WOULDN'T Because REED & Bigdawgs "Afrocentric Talk" Provoked him to Post as he Does...

He's had an AXE to Grind w/REED for MANY Years...REED Understands that his Posting Style & Comments Ain't Everybody's Cup of Tea, but REED NEVER Instigates Racial Messageboard Confrontations...

OC has Accused REED of ONLY Liking Black Fighters, THEN when he Found Out that REED liked Pavlik, he Accused REED of TOKENISM:: ...EVERYTHING is Black or White w/OC & he has Anger Management Issues...

I love that frank Irish bastard, he's pleasantly paranoid, get well soon ya fucken snog. Some of his stuff I whole heartedly agree with and appreciate, like his detection of racism in reverse, double standards, connotations and sentiments, he presents it, in amplified and characitured form, he's a good white weevil, I want him back now :nono:!!!
